Free mins on 3 would be used to divert per minute to Voda number so keep an eye on her mins, she may forget people are calling her 3 mobile not Voda direct, I'd get her to leave a voicemail saying she is temporarily on a different number 07xxx xxx xxx until further notice, on 3 phone send all calls direct to 3 voicemail.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

cheers peeps...... orange france sounds like a goodun
anyone suggest which is the best uk landline to french mobile?
for that your a bit stuffed - France has the highest mobile rate I have come across in Europe, France Telecom as a national incumbent has been far worse than BT ever has been over the years since de-regulation.
Orange France Mobicarte offering of 3€ a day for an hour of talk = 90€ for an hour a day for 30 days, try getting that on contract with Orange France - yes you will get a cheap mobile but Mobicarte works out so much cheaper
3 hours on contract is 32EurosSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

i dont quite understand.
she has free minutes per month as part of her 3 contract.
does forwarding to another number count as actually making a call yourself?
unfortunately, because she is tied into an 18 month contract, the monthly fee to 3 is dead moneysmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Can she not cancel her 3 account using the loss of "3likehome" as the reason?
RavenI'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

she never had '3likehome'
also it looks like it wasnt available in france (which is where she is going to work for the summer)smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

3LikeHome was removed from pricelans took out before April 2009, you can cancel as the remainder of contract is to your detriment with withdrawl on remaining minimum term, I though you wanted the 3 contract for Skype usage ....sorry lol
Call 333, say she going to camp in Italy that's why she took a 3 contract to use on 3Italy, request PAC to take number to Voda or other
No early termination fee as 3LH was removed, £15 unlock mobile & away you goSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

will this actually work....?
she took the contract out 11 months ago.... so not sure the lie about going to work in italy will work.....
she has taken out a vodafone passport sim only deal - £20 per month, 600 free minutes, unlimited free txts and no roaming fee (until 1st sept), her contract for work is until 15th september
i will be interested to know if the 3 contract get out could be done, as she has managed to reduce her 3 monthly payment to £15 per month (as that is what she took it out originally as), but is tied to an 18 month contractsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

She can get out, as the remaining 5 months are part of the contract, 3LH is being removed from the 5 months on 30 June and what was free will now be charged at roaming rates, read here:

Ask for a Port Authority Code & give it to Voda to transfer her number across to Voda.
If your daughter is buying a Orange mobile for French calling/contacts get the Unik Nokia 6301 for a bargain price of 79Euros ( was 250E a year ago ). You can get it from any Orange/FT store...there are millions of them LOL, think Tesco - several everywhere within short distances.
The bonus on the Nokia over other handsets is you can easily switch mobile network off by connection settings as "wifi always" & calls connect by wi-fi only FREE to any Orange/France Telecom wifi ( or any open wifi thats supports UMA call data transmission ) & easily change back to wifi off in a second after the call ends for when moving off - calls that start on wifi remain as Unik charged calls when they transfer to Orange France when you lose wifi. I test wifi only to see if it works on someone's open wifi as some wifi providers/internet companies bar this data transmission then I call somewhere & let it ring to see if it connects if it does I hang up and select "wifi preferred" have the Unik symbol on the handset & dial number and when I get an answer walk away from the wifi connection - I transfer to Orange France & get my cheapo call rate at half price.
Nokia 6301 is a strudy mobile with 3/4 metal casing, its the Nokia 6300 with UMA ( is a additional wifi chip for internet routed calling ) which is what Orange call Unik as it's product name.
Orange/FT wifi is like BT Openzone in France - the market leading wifi operator with thousands of wifi locations, pay 3 Euros out of balance and all calls for the next 30 days are half price with Unik, on top of the other standard Mobicarte options : Journee Duo ( 1 hours of any network calls for 3Euro's aday 7am -5pm i think, becomes 2 hours with Unik option ) & free Orange & french landlines for a 30Euro recharge - Orange is unbeatable even by Orange France's OWN contract deals.
Nokia 6301:

The other bonus with 6301 is with "wifi only" for calls you can connect to Orange France from anywhere worldwide over wifi & NOT pay roaming fee's ! I have a Orange UK Blackberry 8120, & Orange Fr Nokia 6301 Unik (Unique in UK) handsets - I regular call from all over Europe & Far East using included allowances on UK contract & 3Euros for a 2 hour conversation to any French mobile, you will not find a UK dial through provider that gives you 30 mins for 3Euro's to French mobiles, even get her to send you a Nokia 6301 to for UK wifi use for free calls between you if you talk alotSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
yes, but we have only become aware of 3likehome's existance, let alone cancellation.....
also she goes on sunday.... so i think we may have left it too late to deal with
and having read the first few pages of the suggested link..... im not sure this would pan out for my daughtersmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

read further on......;)
If you have left it to late & no-one can use the contract till D return - cancel it.
PAC to another networks payg ( ends contract in 2-4 days rather than be billed for 30 days) & leave a voicemail message for her temp Voda number....drop the 3 contract, you under term 10.1d legally as a change too detriment has occured - can leave penalty free - text message notice's started going out on May 18th, from that notice you have 30 days to cancel. Its is about 3LH not being available during the remaining contract term, regardless if it has been used or not - part of her priceplan has been removed and roaming in 3LH countries over her remaining term will cost her considerable more than INCLUSIVE from her minutes/texts, past usage of 3LH is irrelevant, your D took the contract on the grounds 3LH would cover her usage in 3LH countries.
3 are being selective about who gets the text, legally all customers prior to April 2009 should have had that text.
You need to read the whole thread I postedSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0
