DVD Free P&P Seller Adding Postage After Auction End

No, i said we have seen no EVIDENCE that it was misleading but even if it was misleading that does not excuse advising the OP to pull a scam in retaliation, they should just request a mutual transaction withdrawal.
You make me laugh. So you think there should be a mutual when the seller is trying to circumnavigate ebay rules and charge more that they should.
Its not a complicated situation I'm confused why your having such a hard job with it.
DVD listings are free posting on ebay. This is ebay rules. The seller is trying to get round this by charging after the fact. Instead of adding it to the original listing price.
This against ebay rules so the seller should be reported and Neg'd as far as I am concerned. No I dont thinks its petty reporting sellers as I as a seller and a buyer don't wish to be scammed. Sellers like this give us all a bad name and we should all work to the same rules0 -

YES I think its quite obvious0 -
The ebay policy that sellers must not charge postage on DVD's is CERTAINLY not law in the real world and you should remember that you are conducting real world business on ebay so the law over rides ebay policy.
Now I think you've lost it, I was prepared to play along with your skewed view but you've just shown up that you really don't have a clue. I think an earlier post was right, I had been working on the assumption I was dealing with an another adult but I fear I may have been wrong.
A site can impose their own terms and condition, it is legal to buy and sell livestock in the Uk for instance but ebay prohibit sales of livestock except in very rigid categories. Using your very odd take on things then i suppose we should all take ebay to court for going against the laws of the land for refusing to let us sell puppies or cats online.
Or, shall we all tackle Tesco who refuse to take cheques anymore, after all it isn't against the law in the UK to use a cheque, how dare they dictate to us how to pay in their shops, on their premises.

Call it what you want but thats how it will work out. Ebay will rule in favour of the buyer as the listing is in breach of their terms.
You're right, ebay will rule in favour of the buyer, that's why they make such scams possible.
Does that mean it's ok to advise it on MSE then? if the ebay system supports feedback blackmail then it's ok...thats what you're saying.
Great advise.
Its not a scam by the buyer. Ebay state that you cannot charge for postage on DVDs. You must list them as 'FREE P&P'. Seller then tries to add postage charges to circumvent those terms and conditions.
How is that a scam by anyone other than the seller?
Please, for the love of all that is holy, noone suggested blackmailing the seller. Please reread the posts for your own clarification.0 -

Anyone can make a grand a week when they make up their own rules, but for how long is another matter. I think we know who the real scammer is..
lol that's great, i love it, if you have nothing based on fact to discredit someone who disagrees with you you just make something up...ok ok, i'm gonna have a go......here goes.
Can anyone else here see why steve supports scamming on ebay, because he's obviously an ebay scammer himself and he obviously robs old ladies in the street too
it's so easy to discredit someone when fact and evidence are no obsticle isn't is steve........POINT MADE....I'm out of here, ....for now.0 -
