I did an unwitting hour of stuff as DH was watching some cricket and scowled at me every time I spoke! I've washed up the lunch stuff, prepped all the potatoes and veg for the roast, put the shopping away (dh helped with this), hung up some wet washing, put another load on and put some yoghurt on
And now I've no choice but to do some interview prep...there's nothing else left for me to procrastinate by doing!! I'm just totally out of work mode after a week off but we're out tomorrow night at the Opera (again!) so it needs to be done today!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hello everyone.
Haven't had a chance this week to catch up on the thread let alone do any of the lists, it's just been a busy week with other things. I have done the day to day things but nothing to major.
I hope everyone is well and big hugs to all poorlies, i hope you get better soon. Big hello to all newbies and well done's where needed.
As promised a pic of Rhys, i must say he is a brillant baby only up twice a night and settling really well. Kids love him and follow him where ever he goes.:rotfl: Hubby's been great too and helping with the housework so it's not looking too bad at the minute. I don't think i'll be back flying yet so will take a few weeks to get back on my feet and get other things sorted out in RL.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Awwww vanilla he's so wonderful!

TAG hope things are sorted soon, take care
nicki try here http://www.anderson-retail.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=15 I think they are one of the cheapest stockists. Personally I prefer Dysons.
rach not long to go thenis that him finished after exams?
greenbee, no creepy crawlies is unrealistic! Do all those words need to be related to employment or can it include in home life? Oh and we have loads of ironing services opened up around here, I think there is at least 6 within 5 miles of me. Tempted to use them but a lot of our stuff doesn't need ironing.
DPs out at his club thing, I had a half lazy morning until 10am ish but it was about 4am when I went to bed. Since getting up I have
2 loads WM - one on line one still in machine (yes dry here at the mo too)
Cleared the floor on my side of the bedthere is a carpet under there
Packed underwear for myself and DP for next week (saves putting it away)
Started piling the kids stuff to be packed
Sorted some socks - loads more to do but as you know I HATE that job
Got DS2 to clear his floor (hence the washer load)
Started DS1 on his tip which was tidy....grrr....monster
Filled DW - it's not emptied fully again so must remember to check it
Made lunch - bagels and fruit - missed breakfast as usualOne day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Vanilla - he's gorgeous. I am broody!!!
lil_me if he passes these (he's not convinced he will as there's just so much material) there's one paper in November, but it's applying what he's done already rather than learning new stuff - some kind of extended case study i think.
nicki - i'm with lil_me and having used both much prefer dysons, for what it's worth!
Right, I really really really am going to read this report now!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Me too... but I know Pigpen disagrees
lil_me - all work related. I only have one line on non-work stuff in my CV as it's not really relevant... and I don't think I'll be admitting to having online support for my house work during the recruitment process :rolleyes:0 -
Vanilla, that's a lovely baby (and I don't like babies much;))
Roast cooked, eaten and cleared away and I've cleaned the sink and drainer, wiped down the worktops and cleaned the oven and hob. That should help towards kitchen day.0 -

Dishwasher... what's it doing/not doing (not that I'll know the answer, but I'm nosey)
!
Apart from the fact that the upper shelf collapses whenever i pull it out, and the whole thing needs to go up the person who designed it, sideways...it keeps leaving brownish salt deposits on things, esp glassware. At first I thought was our well water doing this, but it does it even when we are on mains water...any ideas? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
