Apart from the fact that the upper shelf collapses whenever i pull it out, and the whole thing needs to go up the person who designed it, sideways...it keeps leaving brownish salt deposits on things, esp glassware. At first I thought was our well water doing this, but it does it even when we are on mains water...any ideas?

Sounds like you need to get a new one :p

    What make/model is it?

Upper shelf - is it an adjustable one? If so, check that it's back on properly. And also check whether anything is missing, as there should be something that stops it coming off. Or have you don't what I've done in the past, and put it on top of the rail rather than between the two sets of wheels that hold it on :o

Brown deposits... I assume that being a good flylady you have a. removed, scrubbed and replaced the filters b. run it with soda crystals and vinegar to get it clean

Does it have a setting for you to tell it how hard/soft your water is? If so, have you checked this and set it up properly? Are you using proper dishwasher salt?

Can't think of anything else right now... must get back to the job application, much as I'd like to avoid it!

It's blinking raining again so line full of filthy but drenched kit plus what I was wearing brought back in - I don't feel like washing and it's too wet to go in the laundry basket...***thinks might let it 'rest' in the wm (door open)***

I've read one strategy document from the Mayor, and made some notes on things I need to highlight in the interview. Just need to read some responses to the strategy now...after I've been to the loo.

  • Hex however did you guess?! Yes its a f@&%"FG zanussi.

Greenbee as far as I am concerned it is a new one, only 5 years old. My Dad has put all the things back countless times, they are all perished and so brittle and keep dropping off. You can't tell it how soft the water is, but it wouldnt listen if you could! How kind of you to suggest I might be a good flylady, I have done to washing soda and vinegar thing, and cleaned out the filter. Also topped up all the thingies with the proper jollop. Here I am struggling to "re-use" and its getting me nowhere. Sad thing is I replaced the old bigger one with a little one to save on energy and water...just reread and realise i need to get out more!

pigpen - anything new today? Think you're being a tad greedy with all these bugs! Seriously, hope things improve soon x

Denise - It's Match Of The Day! And Whitechapel was very good - saw it when it was on here.

juliejim - hugs; hope you're feeling better

    TAG - hugs

boddy - glad you like the book; the author did (and I think still does) work with people with special needs. But, slow down, or you'll finish the book before me!!!

Jo - thanks for the message from Toots

Sunnygirl - hope the run went well

Abbie - sending hugs and prayers for your dad and all your family

vanilla - he's gorgeous; enjoy him!

I'm abandoning all hope of doing any of the spare room (the spare bedroom is fine, but the other room is very scary!!) and think it's be a half term challenge!!

I am, however, going to attempt to finish sorting my filing.
