Hey we have sunshine now so washing on the line and curtains in the WM.

Shopping all away. Just need to try school troussers on DS2 - he is a very small child for 13 - his current troussers which fit (1 pair) are age 11 - all age 11's I buy are too big so I took them with me to sainsbury (where current ones are from) they are the same as new age 10 ones - 11's are 2" bigger -what is the point in that!

Cuppa and then an hour in the garden - DS1 can cut the grass in a revision break.

Thanks for your help :p ... but no, I don't have to write anything... just get it done. Basically what I do is go in and look at something broken, have a really good poke around and find out how bad it is, take it apart, tell them what they need to do to fix it, hang around for a year or so while they decide whether to give me the money , then fix it... so of course then some b*****d comes along and decides that they want a different answer, at which point I move on :D
  • So what is your job title? A something consultant? Flylady consultant? Can you tell me what's wrong with my dishwasher??

And did you really give up coffee, alcohol and for lent? Wow!

I just take the job title in whatever department they decide then want me in... once I've fixed it, I need to get out before I break it again , and either the job disappears, or the next person comes in and does what looks like the same job, but manages it as business as usual (rather than crisis management :o).

Flylady consultant would be great :D Talking of which, someone has put business cards in the village shop offering a laundry service - washing, ironing, dry cleaning. Apparently she has just started and loads of people are interested. Maybe there's an opportunity for a few of the more... um... talented ;) flyladies to develop a similar business .

Dishwasher... what's it doing/not doing (not that I'll know the answer, but I'm nosey)

And yes, I gave up all three for lent... first month was OK... the rest wasn't. I lost weight, and have failed to lose any since :o

ETA - bother... this application wants a covering letter as well as a CV! And that's before you get to the application form! Yet more creative thinking to do... I think I might go and get some of the lemon tart that's sitting in my fridge. I'm sure it'll help!
