    Afternoon all.

DD has gone out...and my vacuum is as dead as a door nail  So I've spent the past hour trawling websites trying to decide which replacement to get and comparing prices. Also realised purchase will make it 5 (or maybe even 6th) one I've had since October 2000  They only last an average of a year it would seem  No more cheaper ones  I've decided on a Henry but can't decide whether to get a standard Henry, Henry Extra or a Hetty  There's only £39.01 difference between the Hetty and Henry Extra and if they last as long as people claim then I'm thinking it might be worth spending the extra £39 to get the turbo head thing and other extras. I've resorted to a word document and deleting things that all three have :rotfl: Geeky or what? :rotfl:

*wanders back off to Word and more deleting*

Hex2 and Mummyof5 you have 5 stars - do you need more?

 You kindly gave me my five stars after I posted yesterday afternoon, I haven't done anything at all since :o. Are we on a weekend star or something?

Tag - hope everything works out the way you want it to.

No plans for today other than hoover, S&S and the *yawns* ironing. Must clean my car out as it is in for repair tomorrow.

    Hi

Just thought I would pop in and say hi, as I have not had a chance to post much this week. I have been flying though.....honest! :D So far I have written 3 long posts and have lost all of them  So here I go again...

Dad went into hospital this week to have one of his kidneys removed. On the day of the operation, they told Dad that they had found out in the pre-op checks, that he is mrsa positive. He now has to have 5 days treatment and then they will go ahead with the surgery on Thursday. Dad had prepared himself for the operation mentally, so it was hard for him to turn round and go home, and have to go through another week, just waiting. It is a good thing that they found out about the mrsa before the op, but it has been hard for Dad. I can't imagine what he is going through, but we are just trying to be really positive.

My morning sickness is still quite bad, but I just have to look at the scan pictures from last week, and I know it will all be worth it in the end :) ds is nearly 4 but does not fully understand about the baby. I think he thinks that one day we will go to a shop and buy a baby! I was sitting chatting to him the other day, and I explained that the baby will arrive just before Christmas. He then went and told his sister that when Father Christmas comes, he will visit our house, and put the baby in a stocking on the fireplace! I wish it was that easy! :rotfl:

Beef casserole for lunch and then I am going to clean the kitchen. Hope you are all having a good day.

Think I might have to go shopping, otherwise I won't have enough food to get me through the week... although as I only really need yogurt & muesli (I don't have enough stuff in to make my own right now) I can go to the village shop rather than into town.

That is because your body is run down and it needs its batteries recharging.

You are doing too much, and won't listen to common sense.

    Afternoon all,

Sorry for the lack of posting - have been feeling really tired this week, and have really been trying to make sure I get to the gym - have been to body combat on Monday, Wednesday and yesterday this week, so won't be going to the gym again today. I've got a busy week workwise next week, and possibly (depending on if they want me) an interview on Friday as well for the NQT position I applied for. I've also got to call another school that have advertised to find out whether they will accept an NQT (small village school with only 3 classes, and I'd have the responsibility of the Year5/6 class, so possibly they won't want one), and if they will, to arrange a visit before applying. Teachers have to resign by 22 May if they want to leave at the end of the summer term, so hopefully I'm going to be quite busy applying for jobs in the next few weeks.

Loving the kitten pictures - unfortunately we lost all of the pictures of Ebony as a kitten when our harddrive was wiped when we were with TalkTalk. He's still a big wuss though and my baby!

Put a load of washing on as the sun came out, and now it's finished, it's raining again! Will have to put it in the TD after all.

OH showed me a worrying letter this morning, that means we may need to move out and rent somewhere, as apparently by moving into this house we are breaking the terms of the Buy to let mortgage (he didn't realise this), and he doesn't think that they will give him a residential one cos of his earnings. All very stressful, but until he talks to them tomorrow, there isn't a lot we can do. I've come up with one idea, but it'll involve switching some of his other properties' mortgages around a bit.

OH has just called to say the cheese on toast is ready for lunch, but will be back after for a HHC if anyone has anything left to do.

    sexymouse xx

Right, I've bitten the bullet and reserved a Henry extra from Argos... cheapest place to get it from. If I don't need all the accessories then I can always sell them on ebay lol.... best go pick it up before I end up getting the same bus home as Ex and DD lol
