    wow....... soooo tempting....

I know! I suppose that's how he makes his money. If it didn't work surely some past buyers would say something, I for one wouldn't leave feedback until I'd tried it!

Kizzy, will you be so kind and post if you get a reply? I'm fascinated whether it works and, if so, whether my conscience can stand it :rotfl:

If you buy - it's receiving stolen goods. All that's needed to prove that, is that you couldn't have believed that the person who passed them to you had obtained them legally. I'm all for a bargain, as long as it's legally and morally correct. This board is full of people posting that they've been ripped off by buyers - but some of you are happy to rip off Subway. I'm disappointed.

Seriously tempted, and seriously good deal. Just wondering if subway actually accept these, as i'm a bit of a regular, and have never seen any loyalty cards from them!

They do do these loyalty cards, I've collected them myself before. One auction mentioned something about "check if your local store accepts them" so maybe some don't (they're franchises aren't they so maybe they can choose).

Exactly my dilemma. Somehow I don't feel as guilty at the thought as I normally would. I'm tempted to say "its not hurting anyone" but I'll probably get shouted at for that. And I'm normally the kind of person who would shout at others for saying that! He has been doing it for so long, they can't catch him maybe?

Kath - it will hurt someone. Subway are franchises, if the owner loses money, their business could go under, then the employees lose their jobs. This is a major league fraud, I can't believe that anyone could see it otherwise. Sorry for taking this attitude - but I'm a retail Loss Prevention and Security consultant, so I know the harm it could do.

His auction says that these cards entitle you to free subs. I have collected these, i have a couple in my purse and you need to purchase a 21oz beverage to get the free sub but technically it is not free as you still have to spend money to get it

  • Hi
It might not be an inside job.
At college we cannot stand the terrible sandwiches they serve so we have one person who goes to subways and gets the lunch for all of us (of course we've all paid this person) and they always come back with strips of at least 10 of these, depending on how many subs we wanted.
Then we all share the vouchers.

I know Lulubelle, you're absolutely right. And I have decided not to buy them anyway. All this talk of subway makes me want one though  so my local shop will no doubt get some (totally legal) business from me in the next few days, then everyone's happy!

callansdad, you're right, the seller hasn't described it properly. Even buying the drink it is much cheaper than a full meal (and so the owner is losing money) but I will stick to buying full price and collecting my own stickers, am half way to a card anyway!

Thanks for your thoughts everyone :D
