Hi, I want to pick your collective brain regarding this auction. (apologies if its not ok to post a link).
Now I love subway and am tempted by this seller's auctions but I can't see how it can be legal (except for his little disclaimer). But one person cannot possibly collect all those cards and stickers, an employee stealing them perhaps? He has lots of good feedback and people saying they've had no trouble redeeming them but what would you do? Its probably not morally right even if he hasn't broken any laws. But then money saving is sometimes about beating businesses despite moral questions (mispricing etc). Also the subway club cards have a space on the back to fill in your details before you redeem them, I guess they compile these details (but one could always put incorrect details!).
As you can see I'm in a bit of a quandry, moral and otherwise and would welcome all your thoughts on the matter!

I would guess at a 'bent' employee - or forgeries, the fact that they are photographed in lengths of 10+ stamps is the clue.

TBH, I'd steer clear.I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -

Yeah, that struck me as odd too! I find myself wondering how he or she gets away with it.....
Surely subway would find out, wouldn't you think?!

His feeback is amazing - he's got 481 with loads of repeat customers and it seems to be the only thing that he's ever sold.

Found myself investigating his feedback but it does look genuine, not all from users with 1 feedback :rotfl:
Tempting but also not at the same time... oh the dilemma  :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003

I can see why you would be tempted by this. I quite enjoy Subway myself.
It does look dodgy though as you suspect, especially with the stamps being in long strips in the photo. Does look like someone (not necessarily the seller) has been pilfering.
Did you also notice that he's not the only one selling these?0 -
Its hardly a fortune why dont you splash the cash and see? This signature is not mine!0

Is he for real? Ive emailed 2 of his past buyers to ask if theres been any problems using them.
If not, lunch is on me! :rotfl::j Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :j0 -

I hadn't noticed but have looked now, there are some even cheaper. There are also sellers offering rolls of 5000 of the stamps, must be insiders!
You're right abomb1969, I should just buy the cheapest I can find and try it out!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003

Kizzy, will you be so kind and post if you get a reply? I'm fascinated whether it works and, if so, whether my conscience can stand it :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs.
