Morning Ladies
2 bits of news this morning, first I have got my Dad a new coat for xmas so another one crossed off my list. I bought it off Ebay for £25 which is a fantastic price as I thought I would be paying over £75 for it. I sold all my stuff on Ebay as well yesterday and the people came and picked it up last night and paid me cash (£20) and I have a 15% voucher to use on Ebay so means I got the coat for about £1.50. Now I really only have to get a few more presents which I think without checking are for
OH xmas - dont know yet probs dvds with Amazon vouchers
Eldest daughter - few more blue bits for birthday
Eldest daughter - few more black bits for xmas
and 3 knitted jumpers for godsons which I still need to get the main wool colour.
Other bit of exciting news (well I thought it was) is that our Woolorths is reopening as 99p store. Its a really big shop and I am wondering whether they will keep it as big or not, hope they do. The workmen are in full swing and it is supposed to open next Wednesday. We have a store in Chatham which is next town but its so small in there and you cant get round the aisles properly. There is a bigger one in Gravesend but much better just up the town, I will be able to walk there.0 -
How sad am I.. the day of my big hotel breakaway and i'm on here
Excellent bargain there Rufus, I think your ideas for family are fantastic and I bet your dad is going to be chuffed with his coat. I would be excited for a 99p shop too YAY! There will be no stopping you nowxx Did you get your memorial plaque yet? I hope it is everything you imagined xx
Hey JS great to see you back.. I know what you're like when you go quiet so I left you to it so you could have some space to think x How's your job going? Sounds like you have certainly been spending the wagesLOL
Mum2one I mention halfcost and you 're right back in hereHope things are going alright for you and your little madam is still her beautiful self!
Paddy I am so glad I am not the only one who gets the occasional cheeky slug! When I first saw one I thought it was the most maddest thing I have ever seen but everytime we threw it out, somehow it finds a way back in! I didn't know they camouflaged themselves either. EWW. You really made me laugh so much about the woodlice :rotfl:
Anglea I am glad you are inspired and I hope you enjoy making your planner. Just to think it begins the last day in august and we're nearly on July now! How excitingSorry about your moths and your knickers haha your husband might think it's some new 'exotic' underwear
bunbun Tell me about it.. I don't even know which plan does what, my memory seems to forget every year lol I want the EVERYTHING plan which one is that!! :j
Mhagster Thank you so much for your support, that is so wonderful of you xx I am glad you posted.. thought you had gone a bit quiet.. a whole sunday past and I don't remember you posting any bargains

Hi Mel - Yes we have the memorial plaque and its lovely. Looking out for a nice rose that will go in a tub so I can put the plaque up a bit higher or our other dog would trample on it and break it. The vets rung last night to say that we can pick up Rufus's ashes tonight so OH is going to collect him on the way home. Expect it will be a bit upsetting when he comes in, they are putting him in a lovely box which we will keep in our cabinet. I still cant believe he has gone, Ive gone through so many times with him from before my Mum died and before my youngest was born and when I didnt know other half. Seems like an end of a chapter of my life. Still, life goes on. I just wish my other dog Harvey wasnt so big and boisterous an I didnt have such dodgy arms and shoulders and I could take him out on my own but I cant handle him, I tried the other day and hurt myself badly so wont try it again, have to let OH take him.
Im off to have a look for some more Ebay items I can sell now that lot went so well. Be back later xx0 -
Afternoon everyone
