I have just been on halfcost after Aurora so kindly pointed out the deal and have found some really good presents:

    Fleece Foot Cosy:

1.99 - Would be brilliant for elderly relatives or could be combined with a good book from Poundland and some candles as a nice snuggly night in hamper.

    Fleece Blanket:

1.99 - I used a fleece blanket to line my hampers as it really bulked it out and looked beautiful draped over the side. This blanket would make such a perfect present for some of my harder to buy for aunts.

    Bath Bombs:

1.99 BOGOF - These bath bombs look very festive and would be perfect as stock for Christmas fete makes.

    Playboy tote pink bag:

1.99 - Would be great for teenagers filled with some make up that can be found very cheaply these days :)

    Afternoon all

Been busy, no phone calls from the kids new school, so fingures crossed they have made some nice new friends and they are happy.

Managed a few bargins, non for the house though, got DS2 a ben10 watch in asda for 50p ( it was out of the wrapper) should have been £18, and DS1 a Dr Who DVD for £8, he's in to collecting the old classic ones now but if anyone is after the newer series ones they are only a Fiver in both Asda and HMV, good to put away for stocking fillers for Xmas???

Anyway better get going, I need a coffee, then going to get a few jobs done before i pick the kids up.

    Catch you all Later

Congrats on your bargains Sarah, you sound pretty organised for Christmas already! I am glad you have had no calls from the school, must be a weight from your mind. Your life sounds a little less hectic now and I hope you are looking around at your beautiful new home and enjoying it at last xx

In answer to your comment on my blog oh year older plm :rotfl:Sorry you have sniffles - that's what happens when you get old - your body gives up! Bags what are they?:p.

Only joking I've had my nose stuck in the Wilbur Smith Egypt series books as there's been nowt on tv and I can't knit and read coz it's a pain to turn the pages. I got on with a bit of one last night (I haven't forgotten Aurora - just couldn't get the pattern right) so will do my best to get the knitted bits finished this week but need to figure out lining and strap but as OH is away sunning himself in Malaga with the lads this weekend I'll have peace and quiet in the evenings to get on :T

    Hi all

Mel, sorry you're unwell, strange household with conkers and seals!
Thanks for all the info with the photos. Is that deckchair waterproof?

I found a creative solution today for wrapping paper ( I forgot to buy some at the weekend) Ages ago I experimented with teabag papers on a large sheet of card. So I'll cut that out (snowflake shape) and stick it to a very big red envelope I found that came with a calendar. The snowflake will be covering writing on the front of the envelope. Problem sorted.

Thank you so much Phoebe for letting us know, I hope she is ok. Tell her Mel expects a brilliant poem for the gravy tub when Mary gets back ;)

Paddy You needn't be so cheeky my love when you have no bags to show off!! Go and put yourself in the naughty corner at once :) I love finding a book and getting absolutely immersed in it, hope you've been enjoying relaxing!

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
