Hi all,
Haven't had a chance to look at the thread for a while, was out today going through Cheddar in Somerset - and guess what I saw - The fully lit up Christmas Store!
Unfortunately couldn't stop. But it was nice to see. I'd forgotten it was there otherwise I would have had to go in.
Hope I havent missed too much on here.0 -
I love Christmas shops!
It's so nice to buy a wee decoration when it's not nearly christmas!0 -

Hello everyone,
Lucy Lu returning for duty. I'm sorry I've been awol, difficult times and day to day life has been taking over I'm afraid.
How did Rudolph Day go?
I can't believe Mel has gone. Mel if you are reading this, my thoughts are with you and I understand other pressures and responsibilities take priority. It would be lovely if you popped in now and again. xxx
Rufus - your jewellry is absolutely stunning, well done.
Furrypig beat me to it, I was going to mention QVC tomorrow as well, early bird Christmas crafting between 2 and 5pm.
Am exhausted after watching Andy Murray, off to bed now, night night,

Can def recommend Clarks shopping village at Street, its 12 miles from jct 23 off M5, well sign posted, plenty of car parking spaces.
We go down 2 or 3 times a yr, sometimes I get a couple of things other times we have bagfulls.
If you do go, the complex is on 2 sites, just cross the road, theres a cafe, as you cross the road, (heading towards where the Next Store is), on the left, about 30 yards up the road is a cafe, think its called village cafe, not posh, but the food is very reasonably priced, (the upstairs area bit tider than the entrance level).
In the middle they have an old fashioned hobby horses, and the places you can sit in, took dd when she was 6mths. I still love it, thou excuse the expression not that gd at getting my leg over now, if the horse stops in the high position not a pretty site xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Been very organised today, wrapped all my bday presents for the rest of the year, sorted out all the xmas presents so everyone now has their own bag........ hadnt got the energy to wrap them, have to confess I tweaked a couple of peoples presents around! Less to buy now.
Thought Id get orgainsed ready for the rescue dog, we had provisonally choosen one, we'd originally asked for male springer, aged 2 - 4, gd with children etc, but on the website we fell in love with a lady dog, said aged 5, and the owners were rehomeing her as they worked long hrs, she fitted the bill, but after some research with the charity b4 we fell in love (thou we had already half in love), she wasnt 5 she was nearly 7, her health conditions were a lot worse than described, my heart goes out to the dog, not her fault, but just couldnt put dd though it, we might of had 2 yrs, we might of had 6yrs. What makes it worse, is it would of been Whiskys 14th bday today.
But on the positive, we have our name down with a breeder in Wales, and were off to see some Spaniel pups Thursday.
DD has choose some names already
Baileys ( not sure if she wants him called, Mint Baileys, Coffee Baileys, Caramel Baileys, or just Bailey)
or
Vodka
or
Gin
or
Strongbow
xxxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mum2one I amm loving the potential dog names I can see the theme there! Good luck with finding your new doggie and sorry this one didn't work out. I went to Street recently and couldn't find as many bargains there as previously..shame but there is a papermill shop there which is handy if you craft!
Lucy Lu the tennis was very exciting last night my work mate was there so I was texting her, she'll be tired today, I'm not in until later! Have u got yr tv recording QVC?? I have never bought anything from there but get some ideas or source things I like more cheaply online! Will be odd being all Christmassy in this heat!!! Bit will help with the motivation for Christmas organisation!0 -
