    Morning Ladies

Thank you for all your nice comments on the jewellery sets. I have never had a book or anything to go by I just looked at other bits either online or in shops to see how they were done etc. I bought a big pack of findings off someone on ebay ages ago who must have stopped making it and I'm still using up bits from that. The beads are mostly bought from boot fairs cheaply (old necklaces and usntrung them) or bought bracelets and necklaces in Primark when they have a sale on and used the beads from those.

As long as you have the right tools none of its too hard. I bought a set of small tools from either poundland or 99p a few years ago and it had pointed nose and flat nose pliers and small wire cutters, then I bought myself a small pair of round nose pliers and thats all I have.

There are many tutorials scattered around the web that show you how to make things, I have come across them before but havent saved any pages. The charm bracelets are quite easy, you just need a length of chain the right size and some sort of fastener. Then you need the findings that look like pins, not sure what they are called, might be head pins lol, I just know them by sight. Then you thread a few beads onto a head pin and cut the top off so you have about a centimetre sticking out then you twist it with the round nose pliers to make a loop. Make lots of these up using diffferent beads then you use jump rings to fasten them on to the chain. Put as many on as you want.

    Hope that helps xx

    wow it is soooo hot!
But being a true MSE gal I went to Hobbycraft and bought a couple of reduced Chrimbo bits in the clearance section, though overall a lot of stuff is way more expensive than buying online!

Also whilst talking of Christmas if you are crafty there is QVC early bird Christmas tomorrow!! I can't wait as I do love a bit of Christmas esp in the heat!!

rufusdog i love your earrings and bracelet sets they are lovely

well am hating this weather already and we havent got it anywhere near as hot as the rest of the country is forecast................. anywhooo I've finished buying for my friends 2 boy's christening so thats one thing off the list and read through the hamper thread and decided to make them an icecream hamper for xmas so have picked some bits and bobs up today.

Anyone know where I can get normal ice cream cornets as all that my local asda had today was waffle cones which are a bit too grown up for kiddies

    bye for now
