Update: I have just received the following email from the editor of Subba Cultcha

"sorry apologies, i misread your email thank you for notifying us before reporting, i'm getting our tech guy on it-we've had the site going through google to improve hits, but not sure how the admin suite has gone on there will sort this asap! thanks again and apologies for last msg..."

he was a bit worried because he thought that I had reported them to ICO (The Information Commissioner's Office for breach of the Data Protection Act 1998 he misread my email as I said it was my intention to report the matter to ICO if the data was not removed a.s.a.p.

Also received an email from the webmaster

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
This was a genuine mistake. Our Admin content is protected by username and password and therefore not accessible to the public. we did not expect this to happen. we have now removed the site and spoken to Google to remove all pages."

They don't seem to be taking this very seriously.
    These lists are still accessible

welcome to all new compers, there are some very useful and helpful stickies that you need to read at the top of the comps forum. I posted this earlier so thought I would just quote myself.

Hi Lizzie, we don't bite, esp not when people have taken the time to look for the right threads to ask questions in hun.

I normally only enter once, unless its per person ans something I really want then dh will enter as well. The only real exception to this for me is the ITV comps where I do the 5 entries allowed in hope of a win. I don't find I have enough time to do more, as there are soooo many comps I like.

I do however enter 100s a week, around 50+ a day normally, and have won a little which I am very happy about. (thank you comping fairy, xxx)
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

That's a bit off of them.I've googled my email addy and it comes up on their site ,with my name alongside it.
Its a email I just use for comps and my name is not in the address.
I think I've seen VelvetGloves and Catowens on there as well after just a quick glance. No wonder we get spam with such as these looking after the data.

Subba Cultcha have done the right thing and removed the list's from there own site :)

the problem now lies with Google as The links are still available via Google cache

I would imagine that the Google cache will also be deleted the next time they index the pages at Subba Culture as the competition pages are no longer available to Google ;)

There doesn't appear to be a definitive answer as apparently a lot depends on how popular the site is and the number of hits it receives

it could be day's or it could be month's

It's a form filler, not sure if it does passwords, which robocop does.

Thank you will try that :D
