Sorry Hjb no offence intended at all, I used to do it on old thread and post the comps too and then you carried it on, its more direct and time saving for me and others. I did feel it was acceptable

Dont wish in any way to upset you, I feel quite upset in the way you worded your complaint. This is a free forum, I am allowed to help surely?

    Again apologies.

Didn't know where to post this but I was in Wilkinsons today and, on the stand with the large packs of Doritos on was a label saying there was a text competition to win £100 a day in July.

I was in a rush, so I checked the packs but they weren't promo packs  and the label gave NO info other than to say "text every day for a chance to win £100. See website for details"

But I've checked the website and there is nothing on there about it (there is a new comp starting soon which you can register for but it isn't this one)

Anyone got any ideas? I should have pinched one of the labels but I was rushing and feeling really yucky

Thank you so much PPD - I thought I was going mad! I'd even Googled Walkers for text comps but it just kept bringing up pages of that damned flavour voting one!

Bless you for finding it - I feel totally stupid and blind but very relieved that I didn't imagine the whole thing :o

Has any one received their space hopper yet. I was informed that i had won a space hopper from McVitties Jaffa Cakes on June 3rd but I still haven't received it.

I've sent a couple of emails, one a couple of weeks ago, i may have deleted their response by accident. And one today, as of yet no reply. The waiting is just a little annoying. I know it's not a big prize but i'm dying to have a go and have a good laugh.

Sorry didn't win a spacehopper so can't help.

Just read back a bit and saw that there has been bad feeling in the forum again, oh dear. I don't post wins generally anymore in my sig or IWIWIW because I have had a few grumpy comments and can't be bothered with it. We all just need to rise above it though and ignore the people who try and ruin it - it's jealousy through and through!

I've got a couple of comp wins I haven't received and looking for some advice..

First of all TNT - emailed me to say I'd won a bbq pack, and to email them back an address so they could send it out. I've emailed twice but no response, about 6 weeks now has passed. Would you chase again or is it too early for ISP?

Secondly, Londonnet. I feel really funny about this one. I've won a few things from the site, with the last win I had to chase it up (a dvd). The site were lovely, chased it up with the promoters and it came straight away. Next win, I was told would be with me in about 2 weeks, 6 weeks later it still hadn't arrived. I sent a very nice email saying sorry to chase (particularly after last time) but have had no response. I think they must think I'm trying it on :( Should I just leave this one? They probably don't want me entering their comps anymore anyway. Such a shame as I have won a few times with them!!

    too many comps..not enough time!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask for help, but if not, perhaps someone could point me in the right direction. I am afraid I am a technophobe and am helping that someone can explain to me how to do something. For comping, I always use a hotmail email addy. In the past, I just just to click on the link in the comps to send an email and it would go straight through to a new hotmail message if I was logged in. Now however, it tries to open Outlook, which I don't want. How can I set my computer up so that when I click on a link, it goes onto hotmail?

Thanks for helping and if anyone is willing to try and explain, please can you explain in idiot terms.

    Cheers.

Is it maybe worth having a Seperate Sticky for instant win competitions like the Daily/Monthly threads?

Or marking the entries in the above threads with (Instant)?

I only ask because the OH is keen on Instant Win games (no patience!)
