Its taken me months to catch up with comps, as Ive been working full time, finally made it, and Ive now got chance to check out other threads.

Although Ive been catching up I really appreciate everyones hard work posting comps and answers and wish you all GOOD LUCK in 2010

HI everyone, sorry to change the subject but just to let you know that I have made a suggestion on the suggestions thread which should hopefully help compers if MSE takes it up.

My idea is to make it easier to know which comps we have entered simply by looking at the thread list but to do it quicker than subscribing to the thread and by going into the thread to check the thanks.

I did a search on the suggestions thread and can't see anything like this being mentioned before. Anyway here's my post. If you think it's a good idea, add to my post and perhaps Martin and the team will have a think about it.

Its a good idea BB, and one that we have been asking for since the new buttons started appearing.

I'd love a comps done button, and would really prefer that to the End Date button that I never use due to its default settings.

It would be great to know what comps we had entered - I agree.
I would love to see whether I had said thanks without opening the thread - that would save lots of time.

Can someone help pls? (sorry if it's already been asked and answered)

I have started comping by end date (hope to change this in the new year). Anyway, I put this into google (for instance) "E:30/12" site:moneysavingexpert.com and do all the comps I want to do. It's then hopefully done and dusted. I go back the next day to the same link "E:30/12" site:moneysavingexpert.com and do the 'added within 24 hours' then move on. Today, I decided to go back and simply check the entire list. Loads more have appeared which I never saw the first time around (and weren't recently added). How come EVERYTHING with that end date wasn't flagged up the first time? It means it's not a good system to use. Or am I doing it wrong?

2 days ago, I did all the closing comps up to and including 6th Jan. Today, I'm back at the 4th Jan as loads more comps have suddenly showed up (and they'd been posted ages ago) Hope my warbling makes sense?
