I definitely agree with Toniq. My email from Lynku saying that I had won £500 worth of shoes, ended up in my Spam Folder. Luckily, the subject was "Congratulations" so this immediately caught my eye!0

Check ur spam folder at least twice a day!!!
I nearly lost my £1500 holiday vouchers because rather than drop into my inbox it had gone into webmail spam, i had 24 hrs to respond, they had sent it at 5pm , thankfully she had a feeling spam might have picked it up so changed the header and resent it the following afternoon!!!which meant my regular inbox picked it up and i claimed with 2 hrs to spare!!!
I had checked my webmail spam folder but that had been at 10am the previous day!!! not much use if the wem turned up at 5pm!!!
Im lucky as a wtc also followed!!!
That's my resloution!!!! xxxx:eek::eek::eek:xxx
Happy new Year xxx
How gutted would i have felt if i had missed it and not been able to claim? xxxxxxlook_after_the_pennies wrote: »I definitely agree with Toniq. It might be a good idea to set a filter in your email with the words "congratulations" and "winner" and set the above for both "subject" and "body"
I have these words set in a filter so that when any mail arrives with these words it is automatically filtered into a folder called "Competition Prizes"
it does give some false positives but as an added bonus by filtering the word winner you also get to see the winners of competitions as well
Update: never thought about creating filters on my webmail I have now set the following filters on my SKY webmail
if the word Matches: Winner
Do this: Never send it to Spam
if the word Matches: congratulations
Do this: Never send it to Spam
Thanks Toniq!!!

Ooh, thats a good idea Amilucky? ! Didn't realise you could do that! Am at work at the moment but when I get home, I'll check out my email to see if I can set filters. Am with Yahoo.0

Hey Compers
Just returning to comping after a long long break. There are lots of Prima comps and I wondered if you can put all your postcards into one envelope as they are going to the same place?0 -

Yeah. I think Prima is on the A.I.O.E. list. Good luckSECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

hi, there's a list on ppd's 1st page for AIOE's..

Thanks so much for that - make my stamps go a little further. AIOE - all in one envelope? Must get with the lingo.
A couple of my friends have been giggling at my comping. I won £1000 of gardening vouchers and they sent a cheque instead (it arrived on Christmas Eve), now they're suddenly interested. :T
Thanks for all your friendly responses and have a wonderful Hogmanay. x0 -

and so you are correct in saying that Google is not a reliable way of doing comps from mse
Best of Luck
Thanks both of you. I've tried mollylou's way this morning and I shudder to think of all the comps I've missed out on  By doing it via Google, I was up to the 4th last night and thought I was doing brilliantly :j. By doing it mollylou's way, I'm now back at closing the 1st with lots and lots and lots of comps showing which I'd not previously seen/entered :eek:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

I've now finished (fingers crossed) the closing 01/01 and thought the next on the list will be 02/01 but oh, no, it's bladdie 01/02. Is this the norm?SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:
