i`d like to enter comps for 3 members of family with different emails and addresses, will these be disqualified as they are from the same laptop. thanks fearn

I doubt they will check IP addresses.

goood question ive always wondered that also
even if they did check the ip address would it be disallowed?

I think you may have posted this in the wrong forum. But before it gets moved the answer depends on the competitions terms and conditions.

For example, where you would be allowed:

You may enter a Competition on behalf of a third party, provided that third party is not excluded from the Competition by reference to the requirements of these Rules and you will insert the name of the third party into the entry form in the specified field.

And another where you would not be allowed:

An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself. In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered.

Many people on here will view entries on behalf of others as cheating. There has even been a court case of one woman who took her entries to the extreme.

for 3 l-o-n-g yrs ive not won much to write home about, its been a wash out
q. has this happened to any of you? and for soooooooooooooo long?

my name has disappeared from winning list the CF has ignored my effort & pleas.
however i dont post a lot these days to to the CC
but e-mail txt phone some fairer priced ones

Yes but i meant if my brother, grandson & friend use my computer to enter the competitions for themselves but it would still be my ip address & i enter for myself from it??

I know you're not the paranoid type...but for example what if your surname was something like Compton? It can't really filter out email addresses like that? I've not had many wins September and this month so I think it may just be drying up or something?

I think the comping fairy has deserted me lately hopefully she will re-appear before the end of the year. fingers crossed
