    Here's a link to a recently posted comp:http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=25404541#post25404541

The comp provider is not happy, I have pm'd Dalkirst to make him aware. Was wondering, can a comp provider descriminate by postcode?

The comps gone now - what was it for, so we're careful when we post from that site again, please?

The editor of Area Magazine joined MSE and stated that the op shouldnt have posted the comp as they were using the results of who entered to know how many customers they had and where. When they got entries from all over the UK, they didn't like it as it meant they had more work than they anticipated. Warned the poster not to post thier comps stating that no third party could repost thier details. Dalkirst has removed it now.

  • I have been trawling the internet hoping I might find a competition not already detailed on this forum but as yet have been unsuccessful. I am very grateful for all who have posted links to competition and I wish all members GOOD LUCK! Keep up the fab work.

  • Hello and welcome Alpha Omega :) I would like to think that I am on the ball, but loads of times I try and grip on but slip off. :) I seem to be making loads of mistakes in my comps. posts and in real life. I think age is getting the better of me, and they say you lose x amount of brain cells per day. I probably didn't have that many to start with, so have got a running total of about -383. Apologies in advance, folks.

I really hope this is the right place to ask this, but I'm just about to start entering postal comps and just wanted to ask a question.

If you send you post card inside an envelope will they take the time to open them or just bin them?

Might be a silly question, but why would you put your postcard inside an envelope?

Personally I would think if your envelope was drawn it would be opened, unless they had specifically said it was a postcard entry, it which case it may be deemed that you had not followed the entry rules.

Does anyone know what the rules are for the Real People email competitions - is it one entry per household? Thanks
