On the PCN it should have attached a list of contravention codes. What does code 01 say? Does it say anything about waiting in a street where waiting restrictions were in force? (I have paraphrased a bit).
You are correct in that you are allowed to load/unload on a single or double yellow lines as long as there are no kerb markings, BUT un/loading has to be seen to be taking place. Most parking attendants/traffice wardens would wait a few minutes to see if this was the case. BUT they don't have to.
With regards to the dangerous position. As I remember it that offence is endorsable which means you would only receive that ticket from a police officer/traffic warden and it's highly likely you would have been removed.
I would think that 'dangerous position' was on the ticket to back up why it was issued. Were you parked by a dropped kerb or anything?0 -

personally I recommend people host images on 'tinypic'. the advantages being no registration required and very easy to use from page 1.
Unfortunately I understand this forum blocks posting of images before someone has made a number of posts, possibly 10? Said it before - ridiculous seeing as docs are needed.
However, Redbridge PCNs are compliant so not a great deal of point - apart maybe from the additional annotation mentioned.
When informal challenges are made Redbridge have been making an interesting and useful !!!! up in response - but can't speculate on outcome this time until seen.

Simply scan your image, remove personal details and ticket number with Paint or a basic editor like Irfanview, then upload it to an image host like tinypic, flickr, ipernity, photobucket etc and follow the instructions to hotlink the picture from there.0 -
it wont allow me to add the link as i am a new user!0

no there was no dropped kerb or anything, just a normal pavement kerb, i most certainly would not leave my car in a dangerous position. thats just asking for trouble.
thankyou for confirming i was correct in thinking no slit marks on kerb means i can unload. i can get witness statements to confirm i was unloading, i am a regular there.
do you know if there is anyway i can get copies of the pictures taken by enforcer?
if the enforcer took detailes pictures, hopefully it would show that my back seats were down and my boot shelf missing, indicating i had a lot in my car and must be unloading.
maybe then i would have more luck explaining i was not parked dangerously. i was unloading as permitted to do so, i understand its not compulsary for attendants to allow a few minutes before issuing the ticket, however the evidence suggests he was hasty, the pcn shows there was no waiting tme allowed before the ticket was issued.
do you think its worth an appeal?0 -

its still not allowing me to add a link as i am a new user.
thank you anyway.0 -
If you feel you have been wrongly issued a pcn, then yes, it has to be worth it. I'm not sure but I think the photos would be used at appeal as evidence.
It might be worth going back to the street and taking photos of any parking restriction signs.0 -
Eh? What did he do wrong exactly? I can't see anything wrong?
The correct term as listed in the relevant documents is 'prescribed'.
