yeah, but the other bit is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy out of my league - I don't even understand what it is!!! It really needs splitting into 2 jobs - 1 job being the department specialist (it's Family Services) managing the strategic and data side of the service, service provision etc and the other job being the marketing, research and Customer focus areas. It's a weird bolted together job.

I've seen a skirt and blouse online I like at Evans and there's a jacket on ebay but it's whether they fit/look ok/don't make me look even more like an erected tent than normal . I really dislike going into town but I think I'll have to drag my sorry a$$ down there.

    This is the job:

    http://ha.boroughofpoole.com/vacancies/jobs/30.04.2009/Information%20and%20Communication%20Manager.htm

I have experience of all 5 of the listed areas, but I know nothing about the Parent Know How Project etc (although I could quite easily read up on it).

It's on the JD - the Family Information Service section responsibilities that is  Also the Data bit is _pale_

I do wonder how many applicants it got last time for them to write to me to say they wanted to consider me with the applicants following re-advertisement. I don't reckon it was many :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I was just sharing what I've had experience of beanie :) It makes me so bloody mad that the only way to get half of this information is to find someone who has battled their way through the system. I know how poor snags is feeling today and it's horrible. I swear if I were close to her that headmaster would have had a visit and he would know exactly what Ryan's rights are in no uncertain terms.

I often say that kids like my Amber are luckier than kids like my boy and snags boy. There was no doubt that Amber needed to be in a school for kids with severe learning difficulties and she got the help she needed without too much fuss, don't get me wrong there was some fighting involved and now i am going through it with her and the doctors (but that's a whole other story) But at least she never fell between the cracks in the whole rubbish system. Little Ryan would be left to fight his own way through school with no help at all if the various departments were left to their own devices.

It makes me so bloody angry, his school should have applied for statemented help on Ryan's behalf, the various people involved in his diagnosis should have referred him right away for help. Snags should have had support before during and beyond the diagnosis. But they didn't, neither did I or thousands of other kids.

Ok, rant over. bet you wish you'd never opened your mouth now eh beanie

I've been studying Children and Education law today, it's incredible how much gets ignored by the local authorities.

Well, I'm sure that you'd learn really quickly and if you can't do it, nobody can.

Hey, I might apply :) they'd soon see what a gem they have with you if I got to interview.

So, Mrs Toto why do you want to work for this organisation?
"well, I don't really but the cash would come in handy" (stolen from my son, this was his reply at his very first job interview, nope he didn't get the job.... wonder why? :rotfl:)
