I have frozen Y.P, batter in individual silver foil dishes , with a little veg oil in the bottom. When cooking just heat the oven as normal and put them in frozen.
They seemed to come out fine for me.0 -
My Nana used to make them and freeze them in use batches as she lived alone. Both ways work fine

Just looking for a bit of advice on freezing yorkshire puds. I made some mix last night and have some left today. My question would be is it best to just freeze the mix or cook them first and then freeze? Is there a good way to freeze them made up to avoid soggy puds?

I freeze them made up and reheat in oven. Always come out fine.0

I make them and freeze them. No need to defrost when you need them just pop them straight into a hot oven for a few minutes to crisp them up again.

as above I love eating the leftovers as puds. My gran was a yorkshire lass and she always said yorkie puds were for starters with gravy over and for afters with sugar (or vanilla icecream as she prefered when she was older). The idea was something cheapo to fill you up when meat was scarce.

Sounds lovely never had them sweet before but my mum used to the same serving them as starters with loads of rich onion gravy :j saved on the main meal meat I guess0

make them then freeze them and only a few minutes in a hot oven! Aunt Bessie does this all the time!0
