HP4.1m Camera & P7450 Printer Argos £99

Yep I returned the printer exchanged it for a lexmark x1180 all in one as I was not happy atall with the hp printer...faulty in my opinion. I also got a refund of the difference betwen it and the hp printer so the total package now including camera works out at £85 .i.e the lexmark x1180 costs £59.99 instore. I bought the package in Irish republic store as none available in N Ireland, so I am allowing for euro excnage rate etc.

By the way how are you getting on with the hp m407 camrea in this deal? Although its supposed to be 4m pixel the pictures dont seem as sharp and in focus as they do on my little 2 m pixel konica kd20 (No optical zoom on it) also bought from argos last year for £100

I did not think you could return it, the camera is excluded from the 15 day returns policy so if nothing is wrong I did not think it could be returned.

Argos will not accept cameras back under the 16 day guarantee (this will be shown on your receipt)

You can return it if faulty but they may simply swap for another and are not at liberty to give a refund. If you puchased from the website for home delivery, then you are protected by the Distance Selling Regulations and can return it within 7 days for refund. You can often return Argos Direct purchases to an Argos store, but where the item to return is exempt from the 16 day MBG for store purchases, Argos will generally arrange for it to be collected FOC to save any "misunderstandings" in store.

If you try to return the printer they will happily take the camera as well!!

Should we be able to get a cash refund on the printer as the receipt only states the camera is not part of the MBG. I know it would make the camera ridiculously cheap at £19.99 but the offer prices should have been adjusted accordingly. Has anyone tried this yet or can give advice whether I should be entitled?
