Has anybody tried to collect this today and seen which price comes up ? ???

I have a reservation until monday evening but the store is about an hour's drive away

If the cheaper price is still being charged i will be there in about 25 mins

Hi,

Tried to collect today - the £189 (or thereabouts) price came up. The manager wouldn't budge other than to take 10% off that (making it £160).

I was very very annoyed, but as it was only really the camera I wanted, I figured another bargain will be along soon.

I was hoping they'd still let me have it for the reduced price, and I was annoyed because I didn't learn about it in time, and so missed out. Is that OK?

2 branches I went to were unwilling to honour the deal, and even mentioneed that a missive had been sent from head orifice office that reminded them that the deal was over.

Ok, does anyone else have xp? I've tried installing the printer and it's not recognising the drivers. Mind you my xp doesn't like certain things, I had a heck of time installing the drivers for my modem. I've just spent two hours trying to get xp to recognise the xp photosmart driver and no dice. I've sent a very snotty letter to tech support. Probably not the best thing to do. I'll have to see what they say but from googling there does appear to be a long standing problem with some xp machines and hp photosmart products. I just had to be one of the unlucky ones.

I had problems with another HP printer with XP. If you go to their website, you can download the drivers from there.
Had no probs since.
