Bailiffs have no right of entry, well not those types anyway! Only court appointed bailiffs have more power.

CRA = credit reference agency
DCA = debt collection agency

Most threats regarding bailiffs are junk! I moved into my house 6 months ago and since then have been receiving mail for the previous tenant about bailiffs ect. They always treaten but never come around. I would love to give them a piece of my mind!

Letter finished now. Send one off with a £1 cheque to each DCA. If it is the same DCA then send two of them off. Remember to sign cheque slightly different cos some DCA's are known to copy and paste your signature to a blank Consumer Credit Agreement (CCA)! Shocking but true!

Katie read the letter first - obviously. Notice i've said that you're happy for them to keep the money you paid so long as all trace is removed from all the CRA's. If they refuse to remove the data then you want a refund and place the account into dispute.

Legally a refund is not due but we can blag them, remember never speak to them on the phone from now on. It must be in writing and keep a note of dates!

Good Luck! You have nothing to lose - After all the defaults are there and anything would be a start to get them removed.
