I can just imagine being a visitor to your house, opening the freezer for some reason and then seeing it full of old Yellow Pages. My thoughts would go something like: :o ??? ::)

    ;D

Ill have you know, yelllow pages and chips are lovely
  • Freezer's work better when full because they are not cooling so much air all the time - if you open the freezer all the air comes out and it has to be frozen again where as foodstuffs do not lose their heat as quickly

So the moral is make sure you fill up the freezer enough to make it efficient and leave enough room for bargains!

    Or mice and worms
    Always on the lookout

I've just looked in mine, and there are loads of plastic boxes with leftover spaghetti, casserole (I think) and about five unidentifiable ones! Shall I defrost them and surprise eveyone tonight?
    :D

decided the yellow pages a bit odd, so i've taken to filling it with late night supermarket cheap bread. works just as well.

Fit more food in the freezer by taking the food out of the boxes before loading it in.  Most food has been wrapped in plastic as well as the box eg. pizza.  Then write the cooking time and temperature on with a marker pen.
You can take advantage of more offers in the shop, then :)

I cut the instructions off the box and but it in the bag. Then they can't be rubbed off.

I think we need some recipes - what can you make with :

    1 sausage
    3 fish fingers
tinyest portions of mixed veg ever
    3 chips
    1 unidentified bag of mush
2 unidentified large sausage shaped thing in batter - possibly fish based product
1/2 a scoop of ice cream

Cause that it what I normally find in mine :-[

Fishy toad in the hole surprise with side dish of mush and floater coffee for dessert?? ;D
When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt ;)

This always happens to me as well, but I have no idea why! :D

I hate clearing the freezer - some poor so and so has to end up with 1 fish finger, 1 potato croquette, half a portion of cottage pie and those couple of peas that everyone seems to find in the bottom of the freezer, for tea!
