decided to defrost my freezer the other day & found there was enough food in there to feed an army for a month. - from steak to icecream to bagels! i'd just been forgetting to use it. won't have to go shopping for ages. thought someone else might find this useful!

Mine's the steak. Ta!0

Unfortunately, there is no steak.
The choices are from:
- Several hundred peas that have been found loose and gathered up into a suitable container
- one of two "Ocean Pies", which seemed a good idea when they were "buy 3 for 2" but after the first taste the others somehow got forgotten
- fish fingers - salvaged from several opened packs with varying amounts of encrusted ice on them
- numerous Indian Cuisine convenience packs (see "Ocean Pie" entry)
and
- frozen mixed veg (expiry date 2001 but it's in a freezer so should be ok ...... shouldn't it??)0 -

....and everyone has to take that leap of faith when you discover the container with what appears to be a meat based product inside but you've no idea what....dare you try it...DARE YOU?

Oh dear... bells of familiarity are chiming everywhere!
Lurking in the bottom of our freezer are about 1/2 mile of 'natural casings' from an ill-advised journey into home sausage making.
I just don't have the heart to throw them outBetter to die on your feet than to live on your knees!0 -
or the heart lungs and liver to fill them?0

Thought I would share this with you all:
Way back in the 70’s I knew a girl who could not bear to be parted from her pet dog so when the unfortunate creature died she kept it frozen in her chest freezer for several months before finally burying it. :o
Sad but true.Do It To Them Before They Do It To You
