    My ISP's DNS was a bit hit and miss. I've been using OpenDNS for around 6 months and I'm happy with it. With their increasing popularity, they might be having some bandwidth issues at different times of the day. Typing a www. vs. an IP address can take up to a second longer to load. Their uptime is very consistent, though, and I'd hazard a guess at > 99.999%.
