Hi Gemmzie,, hope you hear from your friend soon.

Bookie, did your customer buy anything, or were they a browser? I had a chat with my business manager a couple of months ago, it was more of a proactive thing on their part, seeing if there was any help they could give.
We ended up arranging to have a round of golf together in the summer :rotfl:

wish it would stop raining :(

Maz, how was run club last night, was going to text you then I fell asleep on the sofa and it was late when I woke up

runchum rachel got stuck in traffic so was going to be late for runclub, rather than let her cancel on me, i offerred to go out to hers later in the evening and run there...

we did 3.5miles, pretty good... need to do 5.5-6 on the weekend though, which i'm less inclined about!

Actually am going to do them on friday straight after work and get it out the way, cause then i have weekend for gym on saturday while erin at swimming, then MIL's in the afternoon and bingo at night!) and then am visiting beanielou on sunday.... so really no time for a run sat/sunday.....

We have an extra bank holiday at the end of the month, and Erin will be at school! What fun can i have in a whole 6 hours to myself!!

I was thinking i might book a haircut but i want to grow mine now as i'm fed up not being able to tie it back....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Well done you for going anyway..you will be fine doing your 5-6 miles, plan a nice flat route and it will fly by!
Thats not fair you get a extra bank holiday, but 6 hours to yourself...wow that will be a novelty!
I like your hair how it is at the moment, but totally get the annoyance of not being able to tie it back.
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

    Morning folks :hello:

    It's bright & breezy here.

I've got the day off today, as I have a hospital appointment right in the middle of the day & didn't want to go to work, go to appt & go back to work IYSWIM !

Bought some summer berries earlier this morning, with which I'm going to attempt to make a baked cheesecake when I get back from the hospital later.

    Catch you all later

i might just go back to bed after i take Erin to school that day!!! A chance would be a fine thing!

Re the hair, it's been like this for aaaages now, and i'd like a change... but the thing is, you can't go drastically longer overnight... you can only go shorter... so it's a waiting game.... it looks okay so i can plod along with it for a while, the last few times i got it cut, you couldn't honestly tell... i was paying for the relaxing experience more than tha haircut!

Erin needs a haircut too, badly! poor kid!

Hi maz...just at a b& b near the tower...its only cost me 20 quid for both of us for the 2 nights ...seen the pics and it looks okay nothing spectacular but clean and basic...and ive spoken to the owner and he seems really friendly .t
Doubt we will be in the room that much as planning on lots of things to do indoors , but even better if the weather is nice .
Just need the break really and it only takes just over an hr to get too .
Will keep you posted what the room is like - fingers crossed
