I've had Miss Twit to the NHS Walk in centre this morning, she has a virus (not the oinking kind) but she has been given some spray some for her ears
She's tucked up in bed now, moaning every time she coughs :rolleyes:

With regards to giving blood, I was asked not to go back after I'd given about 15 times as I kept fainting Idiot that I am

I'm having an annoying day - my face hurts all around the cheek area (maybe I've got oinking flu ) and work is trying my patience as something I need to order and the darn website wont load *tut*

Good Morning All,

I feeling alot more positive today as yesterday i was a bit down in the Debt dumps - probably more to do with it being the hump but i feel better today, even if my MGC is a bit of the scary side (will update sig later).

I was going to get up a go for a run (well more of a jog as i need to start slowly) this morning set my alarm and got clothes ready and everything but i was so comfy in bed i decided to go tonight, i know its a slippery slop to start with but some days you just have to stay in bed and today was one of those days.


Sallyx - any motivational ideas?

Becky, my DD went into school for an exam yesterday and a 'friend' asked her to cough over them, so they could get Oink Flu and get the GCSEs from predicted grades instead of sitting them :eek:

re the giving blood thing.. i have given regularly but kept indulging in risky behaviour like piercing belly button, or tattoo which precludes you from giving for however many years each time....

i actually think they make it particularly difficult for people to give blood and then complain when stocks are low.... there are more reasons not to, than reasons to give blood when relatively mainstream activities, like getting your ears pierced, preclude you from being able to give for however long....

they should be able to screen the blood for anything these days.........

I keep meaning to give blood - but I have very low blood pressure so I would no doubt faint - shame because I'm in one of those 0.1% categories as well - ooppps

You're right twitty - its definitely sinuses (sp?) but I dont normally get sick so am no doubt making a mountain out of a molehill

The woman on the plane next to me on the way was coughing the whole way - gross!
