today i will be working at home, keeping the other half company as he's off on "holiday" atm. watching my pride and prejudice blu ray dvds from lovefilm and browsing on here and gumtree for my new london flat to rent. living the dream i am :s

then off to devon tonight to see the parents and my brother - havent been back in ages so really looking forward to it.

other than that i shall be watching working lunch and drinking copious amounts of tea - hope everyone has a nice day :)
  • I left my laptop charger in London, which is why I haven't posted lately. :o James has posted me it though so I should get it today or tomorrow.

I'm at uni, in the library at the moment. I haven't got a lecture 'til this afternoon since they moved the time this week. But I've decided to give blood today so I'm in early anyway. My appointment's not 'til 9 so I'm trying to do my shopping list and type on here, not helped by the fact that I'm really nervous and keep hitting the wrong keys. :D I've never given blood before. Everyone says it hardly hurts at all but I have a really low pain threshold. Is it really not that bad?

Morning....I will skip the thinking...can't do too much thinking! :rotfl:

I am off to work shortly. I have been giving this not ironing lark a whirl. I have done a wash load ever day and then put it all away without ironing...its working so far!!

Sun is shining here and its another day closer to D Day!

Oh and I rang the people who offered me a settlement figure..(capital one - passed on to a DCA) they would not accept my 50% offer but offered a 30% reduction. It is my third smallest debt so I have asked them to put it in writing. They said my credit file would be shown as satisfied so I am going to go for that..yay!

    Morning all :)

Sunny here at the mo - at last! Started the day in a good mood but now being annoyed by more senior staff at work who don't have a clue what they're doing... grrr.

    Deep breaths...

  • Well, I tried. :)

Apparently, my veins are too small and they wouldn't have been able to get the blood out. I've now got a plaster on my finger from the test at the start, which is getting in the way when I type, and I've been told to come back in a few years. I'm now off to do my shopping. Talk to you tonight.

I gave up with giving blood Kayleigh - they could never find a vein. The doctors struggle if ever I need tests too.

Getting really cross with my shower now - it took 10 minutes to get any pressure this morning.

I had that problem too when I tried a few years back - not sure if my veins have got any bigger since, maybe I should try again!
