Not up to much Bookie..supposed to be working but not much to do today and its scarily quiet today, only 2 customers!

Maz I agree with you about the blood, I haven't given for years as I went travelling at 18, couldn't then give for 3 years, then had belly button pierced, another 3 years, problems with liver, unable to give, C-section and I haven't bothered since. Sure if I went now there would be some reason!
SHWA - Can't think of anything motivational today...sorry im having a unmotivated day myself ;)

Oh and I rang the people who offered me a settlement figure..(capital one - passed on to a DCA) they would not accept my 50% offer but offered a 30% reduction. It is my third smallest debt so I have asked them to put it in writing. They said my credit file would be shown as satisfied so I am going to go for that..yay!

Hello Sammy please could you tell me a little more info on the Capital one offer you are taliking about?
I have currently reached over my limit for a while now on my Cap one card. I cannot seem to pay it off but the charges are going up and up - nearly as much as the credit limit itself !!!!
Can i ask for a reduction ? and would i have to pay it all off in one go?how much should i ask for ?
Im currently out of work at the moment and struggling to find a job so with this bill getting more and more by the month im really starting to panic now!!

Hello all ....I today intend on not spending any money , its currently quite sunny here now so going to hang my clothes out to dry . An let dd play in her sand pit and get all messy:o
Ive plenty of housework to be getting on with - never ending . Then im going to check for any surveys and mystery shops in my area this wk . Do my scratchies and hopefully get some listings on Ebay .
Then im going to pack a few things for me and dd to have a couple of days at blackpool tomorrow - which is being a cheap mini break as ive used vouchers and intend on only using vouchers whilst im there:D

Supposed to be heavy rain all weekend there..but well its away from home for a couple of days:o

    Bank managers don't do nice.

    Just had a customer. :j:j
  • @ bookie - If it makes you feel any better, that's about how long it takes to get hot water in this house.

@ Maz - Yeah, they do tend to bar you for ordinary activities too often. Getting a tattoo, having acupuncture, being gay... I'd better stop before I start my usual rant about the National Bigot Service.

Morning all, I've been good this morning and done 45 minutes aerobic on the Wii because I've been feeling like hell lately. Working later and trying not to think today.

Keys, you should be here today, it's sunny, but a bit fresh.

Maz, I do agree with you about the blood thing, the basic questions exclude a huge amount of potential doners.
Last time OH went, they turned him away as they were short staffed.
