    Thanks Gem, I know there is a reason why they are so reluctant to do it. The problem is, her tonsils are huge anyway, and as soon as she gets so much as a sniffle they flare up. She's having so much time off school and honestly with her having the glandular fever it could be weeks before the tonsils go down, and of course she is just so miserable and in so much pain, it's awful.

    Sometimes one has to get assertive with the medical profession and stick to your guns.
