Toto, taking tonsils out isn't always helpful, they can still get the infection in later life and it can settle on the lungs if there's no tonsils to cling to, not nice. Hope they get her sorted soon.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I had loads of problems with my tonsils till I was about thirty but the docs refused to take them out..it is pretty nasty op from what I can gather....
