Hi Toto :hello: is Jas feeling any better?
Hey twit
Not reallyshe's really fed up with it all now. The problem is her tonsils at the moment. They are huge, they almost block her throat, there's just a hole at the bottom which is why she can still breathe.
She was back in the hospital at the end of last week, there are a few other symptoms so they took some blood tests. They tested for leukaemia, so I've been worried sick all week. Thank god we got the results today and it isn't that.
I have asked that her tonsils be taken out, but the stupid doctor has said not unless she gets 4 bouts of tonsillitis in a year. They've given her antibiotics, but there isn't an infection there, they are just really painful and swollen.
So, I'm going to wait until she's finished the tablets and then take her back. She's had 6 days of a 10 day course and she's still getting worse by the day. We have private medical insurance so if it keeps up I'm going to bypass the GP and try to get seen by one of the consultants at the hospital.:A

Toto - lol at you and the doctor! Luckily this guy seems quite relaxed and 'normal', otherwise I think I would be a bit intimidated!
Thank goodness poor Jas hasn't got leukaemia - how awful for you, going through all that worry. :grouphug:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
