It's not unknown for Dell to charge your credit card a couple of days AFTER dispatch - they've done it to me a number of times. So just because they haven't charged your card doesn't mean your machine isn't going to come.
Thanks for that Biglugs but I`ve still not received any order number or any phone call from Dell so starting to give up hope.
It is now over 72 hours since I ordered.
When I put my receipt number and email address into their site it comes up "unable to find order"0 -
Seems that the 19" free upgrade is gone using D03515
Unless someone has a link to it ???Thanks to all who post constructively.

Actually it doenst say 'Free' any more but add £88:Well how is that free then ????
The reason this Dell offer was so brilliant was that for a short period of time they had set it to give you a free 19"" monitor, but forgotten to put up the price to compensate! If you want to take advantage of these things you need to get in quickly, not three days later! Thanks to all who post constructively.

Im just grumbling about the Free thing
Funny how I had been checking the offer from Small Business before and the price was around £450. But now there is now no free monitor upgrade there, though the 19" is still highlighted green without any additional text.
Was looking for a work colleague thats why 2/3 days later :P
... going off to moan about the lack of FREE monitor ... grumble grumble0 -

There's no such thing as a free lunch - with Dell you just have to make a judgement as to whether the thing you're buying is worth what you're paying. Forget ANY marketing spin about free upgrades, double memory etc. That's just a load of crap.
Exactly the same is happening at PC World - they are building up their prices ready for Easter when I guarantee they will have a Bank Holiday "special" with lots of big discounts bringing their prices down to where they were a couple of weeks ago.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

It wouldn't surprise me if that was true, it seems odd that loads of orders were cancelled at the weekend (when most of their head-office staff weren't working), but today a lot of orders for the same things are now being processedThanks to all who post constructively.
