In summary, 3100 has 2xPCI, 1xPCIe

Be careful - the PCI-e slot in the 3100 is a 1x slot, not a 16x slot suitable for a graphics card.
Both machines are upgradeable but the 3100 has much more limited options than the 5100. If the price differential is less than £50-£75 I would recommend the 5100 every time.

Still £349 in small business section, But 15" panel rather than 19" but with 160GB HDrive (as opposed to 80gb) and also network card.

I thought they all had network onboard? Not a bad price for a P4 630 but the 15" screen is a bit small. Shame they won't sell you just the base unit for £300.

Bought this with a 19" TFT screen this morning at the lower price. Don't actually need another PC, but it was too good a bargain to miss! What's the chance of selling this to fund the new laptop I do want? :rolleyes:

Bummer - was unable to check the internet this morning as I was travelling somewhere, but have been checking every other day constantly! After buying a 19" TFT, with the PC thrown in that would have been brill. Will keep a look out!

Xueta - what was the "lower" price? If it was less than £350 you will have no problem selling this on Ebay - the screen alone is worth about £170ish so shouldn't be too hard to shift. If you have this for around that price and are based in the SE then PM me - I missed out on this offer yesterday
