This "no fee" is a sad sign of the times isn't it.:mad:

This isn't anything to do with MS-ing ... but ... when I started working in hotels 20 years ago, all the food scraps used to go in a big bin and the local pig farmer would collect it each week and pay us £60 for it.

By the time I left to have my daughter 12 years later, we were paying him £150 a week to collect it!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Now I dont know what to do cos I could potentially shop both jobs on the wrong day now grrrrrrrr

I've been Ms ing for 16 companies for 8 months now and I've NEVER received a phone call
Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.

Will someone in the Gatwick area PLEASE take that ruddy cycle shop job on RE ... it's been top of my list of available assignments for about 3 weeks now and I'm getting fed up with seeing it!

Mmmmm, now that IS a mystery..... :rotfl:

I've been at it (ooh, err) for just over a year and have only received one call which was within my first fortnight. I was so eager to please that I accepted a dire job for £5.00 in Central London where I never, ever went...... I rang them back and said, "oopsie, I've got a dentist appointment that day..... ". Can;t remember which company it was but doesn't seem to have done my MS career any harm, I mean, I'm still eligible for the 'no fee' coffees, after all..... :o

I've decided to give the TNS supermarket jobs one more try ... they seem a bit less complicated each time I do them ... so I've picked 3 for next Monday, and am delighted to have blagged a big new store that's opened near me recently. Not been there yet so am looking forward to having a good look around!

Yes, in an unheard of coup, I managed to get four local ones - thanks to the Alerts thread, I might add. I am very pleased with my performance on the fastest finger front...:T:T:T

I notice that you can't do the same one within a certain period of time which possibly seems unfair as supermarkets are places where people regularly go and so you would not be out of place even if you went three times a week. Maybe it's a 'fresh eyes' type of thing and they want different perspectives?

Anyhow, I'm a happy bunny - must go back and thank poster on other thread:A
