does anyone know if there are age/profile restrictions on the fast supermakrket jobs on TNS. I used to be able to do it, but now cant see any for this wave:(.

further to my last, this is all I can see:
    Age Range: 18 - 70

So as long as you know that you're an adult, and can remember that you're an adult, you should be ok.

I'm 18, male, student and can see them, if that's any help.

I think ABAI are pretty good, if a little unconventional, mainly in their payment method; you'll get a little envelope through the post some after doing the job. When this "sometime" is varies by the jobs but should be 2-5 weeks.

I love the fact there are so many Glaswegian shoppers on this board - I'd love to put you all in a room and release a pub job in front of you - the fight would be worth paying to see! :D

    :rotfl:

If you want to see Glasgow at its maddest come up tomorrow lunchtime. Rangers play Celtic in more or less a title decider. The so funny Celtic fans think they are soooo funny. They plan on coming to my Ibrox wearing flu masks. But some of my friends have made a banner with an arrow poiting to their bit saying "Beware swine are alert"

Does anybody here do any work for Serve Legal? I realised I signed up with them ages ago, but have never received any emails, and I gave up on checking their website a while ago. I'm thinking of emailing them - but does anybody on here have any experience of them? Ta.

Sorry to indulge in post bumping, I know it can be annoying, but I could really do with any info anybody has on this one. I know this thread moves fast and it can be easy to miss posts!

    Thanks x

You can't view the questionairre until you've done the visit. Well, you can view the first page, but until you've filled that in, you can't get to page 2 etc. I may stand corrected though...

You should have received the briefing notes via email, that is what you need.

Thanks ukmonkey, that is what I thought. I'm in the middle of printing hundreds of pages now lol. Work is still quiet in my area but I have managed to nab 6 jobs for this weekend. I have missed a few because of not being able to log on during the day which is a bummer. That's life!

I just pick up Island jobs as normal visits nowadays as I visit the Islands each month with my main job so I tend to tie up the visits with the main job visit, so Stornoway, Kirkwall, Portree, Lerwick are listed as some of my postcodes.

I still occasionally get a flight paid for by one MS company for going to Stornoway for one particular job but I dont get any time payment, its just a flight reimbursement - From Inverness I dont mind really as its just a 5 hour morning trip to do. I even just walk to and from the Airport to save on Taxi fares! They act as my loss leader jobs.

Loganair moving to the Flybe Franchise has helped as well as if you take a gamble, and pre-book your flights a few months ahead they are dirt cheap, but you have to be confident that you will pick up certain jobs without anything official from the MS Company.

The MS companies do tend to be very flexible with dates though if you say well actually, i am going a week later or a week before - if it's an Island job I have never yet seem them refuse to later a date to fit your travel plans. The best for this used to be Gyp once upon a time, they paid for me to regulalry fly to Western and Northern Isles but those days disappeared over 24 months ago with gyp.

    Moran Taing HP!

Mike I was once asked to fly to one of the islands go to the post office, enquire about premium bonds etc. Now coming from an island originally and having been back working in Tiree for a year a few years ago I told the MS'ing company not to be so daft. As soon as these planes leave Glasgow everyone on the island knows who is on the plane. They would obviously wonder why you had flown from Glasgow to Stornoway to go to a post office,

My mum tried to surprise me by coming up for my birthday. Someone flagged me down as I was doing my calls ( I was the island nurse) and said "Hi HP your mum is on her way she is on the plane. Should have seen her face when I was at the airport to see her coming off the plane.
I love these flights. None of this checking you have your seatbelt fastened. You just put it on if you feel like it. Sometimes you get tourists who say where is the toilet. There ain't none. A tourist once asked me where the hole in the wall was. I said the gents toilet. Another asked what time the pub shuts. I said when the last customer leaves. No locking your door, house or car. Everyone waves as you drive around.

You have made me all nostalgic now.

HP, did you fly with Loganair? My Dad was a pilot for them going round the islands for years.
