AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I Hate RE. I so wish I'd stuck with my resolution not to do any more jobs for them. They are saying that they are not going to pay me because I didn't order a dessert on a meal out, but as we had taken 2 hours to get 2 courses we had to leave to get back for the babysitter. I'm £40 out of pocket, they just treat us like dirt so furious.
I suspect the thing to do in this situation is to order the dessert and ask for the bill at the same time, and leave without eating the dessert?

It's silly, since the reason for not haaving dessert is their dire service, but I suppose you didn't totally fulfil the brief, so they have to get someone else to revisit the location.

If you go to the pizza's co. website, it has a box there for delivery where you put in your postcode and it tells you which branch delivers to you.

cte1111: Sorry to hear that RE will not pay you, did instructions state specific items to order, if so , they need to be ordered, especially when it comes to RE, i am guessing you have already tried reasoning with them. i know the feeling of sitting in a restaurant for 2 hrs plus, it can be fustrating especially if you need to get home.
Yes I can sort of see their point too, it did say that we should order 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert. So I had planned to have a dessert but was so fed up after waiting forever and having to complain about both of our main courses, that as we had ordered 2 starters they would accept this as they do say that we should act like a normal customer, and other customers were leaving without having any food as they were waiting so long.

    Thanks for everyone's responses.

They actually asked me to revisit! Hmm let me think about that one
  • Is this for RE? I did a casino for them a few months back and took my hubby... to be honest I can't remember what the notes said but I would think if it doesn't specifically say you have to go alone then you should be ok. The only thing to remember (as someone said earlier) is that you have to join before you are allowed in so you need to take ID.

Hi - Yes it is for RE. The notes don't specify either way and I don't want to ask them TBH in case they say no, go by yourself!

We both have ID so that's all sorted. Hoping to win!

I was wondering the same. I applied for 4 different phone jobs yesterday, said I had prior experience with Mystery shopping phone shops with other MS shops - and .... nothing.

I have applied for 8 jobs since I registered with them last month but have not got allocated any yet! They phoned me last week and asked me to do a job, I declined because I was going the other direction last weekend. Don't really understand their criteria in allocation of jobs.

When applying for a job with ESA I'm asked to provided a short statement in support of my application, as well as the date that you can do the job. What do you write?

The first time I applied for a job with them I wrote a couple of lines, and last time I just put down the date. I didn't get either job, so am not sure if it's because I'm missing something crucial in the application process. Any ideas?
I applied for 4 jobs yesterday with ESA, and have been accepted for one, so that's a good start. Pleased as it is in the same shopping centre as another phone shop that I am visiting for GR so makes it more worthwhile.

I put something like like 'I have read the notes for this job and will be able to complete the visit on xxxxx.' Was wondering how often people get accepted, but thought there was no harm in applying. I'm hoping they might be like Bare, and once you've done a few for them you get offered more often.

Less cross than I was earlier. Trying to sort out my schedule for the next few days, have got 11 more car showrooms to visit along with a few other jobs so will be busy.

I did the first one of my car circuit yesterday. I have to say that I am trading in under the scrappage scheme, but don't have the scrap vehicle with me, which makes it a bit hard to push for a discount, as I would have to come back, and they've kind of already given a discount. Anyone else got this scenario to do? Would be interesting to hear how it is going.

Strangely enough though I have just had an email from Bare asking me if I would be interested in completing a circuit in my area this weekend , well yes I am doing it already .... very odd.... !
