    Hi Guys,

Just after a bit of help/advice.

I've just had a pizza assignment declined with gap because I ordered a side order and main together instead of having them seperately.
The assignment notes didn't state to have the side order as a starter.
I've done jobs in the past and had both the side and main at the same time with no problems.
I have emailed them to query it but not had a reply as yet.

Just wondering if anyone else had assignments declined because of this?

    thanks
Anyone else in this position? Seems to be happening to me too, but I'm in email contact with them at the moment, so hoping to still be paid.

I know I have spoken to staff at RE regarding returning items. They ARE able to see who has returned items purchased as part of a mystery shop (at least if you use the receipt). The very nice lady I spoke to seemed appalled that people would do this. It is against the terms of the shopping contract that you accept when you sign up to do the job, and it is in effect conning the client out of more money than they are willing to pay for the mystery shop to be done. Can you not use the item as a gift for someone? Or exchange it for something you can use? Perhaps check if they have an on-line store to see if there is anything you can exchange it for there?

The problem is that RE jobs are usually only worth doing if you get something decent out of it, as the fees aren't worth the effort.

I personally buy the most I can and if I won't use it or can't give it as a gift, I'll ebay it.
    Happy New Year

    I agree completely :)

I do the same :) though haven't had to ebay anything yet.

The problems with GFK, were they bank jobs?

    TPAx

    Nope

A phone job and a hospital job. I cancelled both now with a rather stern comment in the "reason cancelled" box. If they want to waste my time with tests that wont let you pass, even when you know they are the correct answers, then I dont want to work with them - at the end of the day, no-one will be able to do the assignment if the test wont let you pass!

My briefing notes said you can have a starter and a mains, or a mains and a desert with a side order (they recommended salad bowl or similar)

So I had the mains and side (which was salad bowl) which I had together, with a desert after.

No problems for me - they paid up this month

you cant buy one as part of your conditional spend, it has to be a product they can demonstrate on you , ie a body lotion. but you can get one for yourself anytime! :D

I've also had no problems being paid when I asked for a starter and main course to come together, and have mentioned it in the comments once, as they didn't actually come together despite me asking. Sympathies for those who are having a problem, Gap do tend to be pretty abupt in this situations, I hope you manage to sort it out.

Please would someone be so kind as to post the link to the June challenge? I can't find it :(

Pebblespop has bowed out of running June's thread (some excuse about having a wedding to organise ;)) so I've offered to do it.
