I did have to shut down the tab I had and retype the address and then it worked - it didn't work by just refreshing the page. HTH

finally working here as well, i had to shut everything down and restart. got two more station ones so 3 in one now so i can find out which platforms i can actually access - hope i can at least get to one of them :D RE have annoyed me again as I took a job which was supposedly 17 miles from me - postcode looked similar so i guessed it was ok and thought it must be a little village outside of town....then after i double checked and its 50miles away! big difference so ive had to release it instantly

    Evening folks,

I've just had an email from a (well known) MS company asking me to do a bank assignment but to take a loan out (5K) then they would arrange to have the loan cancelled.

It looked a very legit email and there was a large fee for this but I'm obviously cautious. Anyone had something similar? Not sure if I can name the company.

    TIA

Hiya I have not had anything like this and I definitely would not consider doing it. It would effect your credit rating - not sure how that shows if you are accepted for a loan which then does not happen. Plus IF they did not cancel it you would then owe the loan and the interest back to the bank and they will pursue you forever for the interest regardless of if it was an error.

I would never risk it - I had a terrible time with a bank years ago. A loan "appeared"in my bank account. That was over 10 years ago and even though I have had countless trips to the branch and meetings with the bank manager they still insist I owe the interest. I have never paid it and never will as they do not have any documentation - at the time I was living 200 miles from the branch where I had supposedly seen the bank manager and signed the paperwork :eek:even worse my mum used to bank with them too and when she went in to see manager about something else he tried to get her to pay off a loan fogure for meimplying it was HUGE and I had never paid anything back, i think this breaches every banking regulation in the country as my data was discussed with someone else inaccurately and it came across more like blackmail and intimidation!:eek::eek::eek::eek: I DISTRUST banks and loans completely to say the least.... and I do not set foot in the aforementioned place:eek:
