I just got offered a job today which requires me to "identify myself" at the end of the shop. Bit nervous about it!
Has anyone done a job where they had to do that and what were the reactions of the staff like?Disabled student desperately trying to earn some money...!0 -
Sorry can't help as no experience but I really love the term "reveal yourself"- there's a way to get yourself arrested!0

I simply state: 'At this point, I'm obliged to inform you that I'm a mystery shopper.' I then give them a warm, afirmatory smile implying that they did a terrific job (even if they didn't). Believe me, at this stage, they are far more scared of you than you are of them. It's then easy because you can just revert to being yourself. That said, I'd make a quick exit before it all sinks in.:DNever mash cheese: it bends the fork.0
