Just had an email from Optimum, they arent happy with the report I filed for the bowling centre yesterday
Apparantly, the client wont be happy with yes or no answers in the report, but my argument is what the hell are you supposed to put in the comments box when a yes or no answer is sufficient to that particular question?0 -

I've just done my first RE pharmacy.
It went well except when I went to pay, she had to go and look on the shelves to see how much my shower gell was. I wondered why she didn't just scan it. When she came back she added my purchases to a big list of items, and added up the total on a calculator. I said "are you doing it the old fashoned way today?" and her reply was "the till's broken"
This meant no recepit.
I do think there was a genuine fault because she'd written down everyone else's purchases for the day too, and the till display said $$%£$$££"@:£$$£:@"
But will Retail Eyes believe me? I couldn't back out of my purchase at that point because I'd spent the last 10 minutes chatting to her about how bad my hayfever was...so saying I needed a receipt would have been a bit odd...Happy New Year :beer:0 -
tns pizza question:
Have just realised it says "if you took other people on the visit with you or spent more than £x, their meal costs will not be reimbursed by tns."
Does this mean that they will reimburse up to £x of the cost of two meals, or does it mean they will only reimburse the amount of one meal?
My visit is at lunchtime today, and I don't have my area manager's phone number with me, so am hoping you can help!0 -

I think they're trying to say they'll only pay for one. But I've taken two before and got full reimbursement... I don't think they really mind so long as you don't expect them to pay more if it goes over the reimbursement (which it probably will if there are two of you).Dan

They will reimburse up to the £x regardless of how many people go.
I've got one at lunchtime today too - getting hungry already - I love this place!:j0 -
Owlet, I don't think there's any need to post about OC jobs on the Alerts thread. They don't post the jobs up there for all to see - they operate on a rota system, so only about 5 people in your area will have been offered that job, and they will each receive an email about it.
The rest of us won't even be able to see the job.
Hope you don't mind me pointing that out - it's not meant to sound like I'm telling you off. Just that the vast majority of us won't be able to see the jobs anyway.
As it happens they have offered me one, too (I wonder if we're in the same area - north east?) I'm sitting here thinking about it. I've been really uspet that I've been out of the rota for the last few months and they finally offer me a decent job and it's probably twice as far as I would normally travel for them, so I don't think I'll bother anyway.0 -
Whoooppeee some nice jobs coming in for June :j. Got two opticians for Tern and a nice building society one for OC - all very good fees
. Also managed to nab 3 big supermarkets for TNS :T. Makes up for the abysmal month I'm having at the mo. Mind you, I have had to release a few because of illness this week, one of which was a fast pizza  boo hoo gutted .
With the OC questionnaires, I also just repeat the question if a yes/no is a sufficient answer. eg was the outside clean and tidy? answer, yes, the outside was clean and tidy. It is a waste of time but OC like a high percentage of the comments boxes filled in, even if it is mindless drivel.

Ooops thanks for that Scaredy, no I didn't realise. That explains why I can pick up a few with them lol. Of course I don't mind you pointing it out, I don't want to waste people's time logging into the alerts.
I am in the West Midlands, I know there is one other OC person in my area cos I have to be very quick for the bowling jobs lol. Luckily for me, this one is in my home town, which is only three miles awaySPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

I would LOVE to do one of their bowling or cinema jobs but I've only ever been offered one cinema job and I wasn't quick enough.
As for the rota, I only know that myself because I emailed them asking why they hadn't offered me any work for a whileI'm still tempted to do this latest one but it's just so far away I'm not sure it's worth it.
