I took a friend from work when I did my local last month (can't do any others when they're lunchtime mid-week!).

It doesn't actually say you need to DRINK the drinks, it just says you have to ORDER them. So you could order what they say AND order what you would actually like to drink! Of course it's stupid, but often MSing scenarios are!

....and waste beautiful alcohol??? I couldn't do it!

I was asked to go to TEN bars in one visit earlier today! (She did say I didn't have to drink them all - wow, thank god for that!)

Unfortunately couldn't take the job because of exams.

Prize for tact and diplomacy and peeing off a mystery shopper goes to XXXX Bank today-Who asked me if I was over 60. I'm 48 !!!! If it had been a teenager I wouldn't have minded-when you're 18 everyone over 30 has one foot in the grave but this old duck was definitely in her 50s.
Still debating if it goes into the report or not LOL

If anyone sees any MS's for anti-aging creams or facelifts -please PM me !!! ;)

I agree with jdan9, it should be mentioned in the report, at least in terms of the way the question was phrased. A genuine customer may have taken offence (as you did), so I think it should go in.

By the way, you might want to edit your post to remove the client name.

    Hi all

Would someone be kind and pm me a list of ABA-i clients? I'm completely new to this mystery shopping thing. I'm doing my first shop this week!!! I've currently got 4 clients on my screen for ABA-i but I'm sure there must be more from what I've read on this forum.

    Thanking you in advance.

I am amazed at a lot of these shops that don't have business cards [when I've needed one]. Even nobodies without a business in the USA carry cards.

If you're thinking of the GAP mobile phone jobs, it's easier to get a brochure in which the member of staff has written down the deal they're offering. GAP are perfectly happy to accept this in my experience, and also it looks a lot less suspicious when you ask for it IMO.

Probably best just to read the threads and keep checking daily, and read what people say. Feel free to ask questions, and you'll probably get 10 different people answering the same question - everybody is very willing to help.

You'll find it gets much easier for every job you do, until it becomes completely natural and easy for you. I'd suggest you get a fairly straightforward job for your first visit, while you're not so accustomed to the MS companies' expectations. GAPbuster (GAP) in particular have very straightforward questionnaires - try a mobile phone shop, or an 'underground sandwich' shop.

I'm sure you've probably picked up by now if you've been reading the threads that we usually refer to companies with abbreviations - e.g. RE for Retail Eyes, GAP for GAPbuster, etc. Also, we don't mention client names - this is part of the small print you agree to when you sign up for a MS company. Generally, just be careful about what you say on here, remembering it's a public forum which everyone, including staff at the MS companies and staff at the client's stores, can read.
