  • Have been looking at 3, since i saw the adverts in the paper for the new tariffs, and what the freebies seem to be for a £10 top up, would easily last me 3 months, so hopefully saving, having to top up every month like i currently have to do.

Can anyone tell me if the 300/600 free texts that you get with the £10 top up, is cross network, or only 3 to 3?

I've been using 3 for a few years now and really happy with what I get for what I pay. I can't remember the last time I didn't have a signal

The Free internet access is 150mb for 90 days. You can pay £5 and have unlimited (or 1g).

Can you clarify please. You said pay £5 and internet access is unlimited, then went on to say "or 1gb". Is it unlimited or is there in fact a limit of 1gb?

After seeing this offer I went and got a 3 mobile, yet when I try to download skype (or msn), it just says 'operation failed'.

Any idea how I get round this?

Very strange. What handset is it? Does it support the applications? Are you trying to download them from Planet 3 on the handset?

The model I got was here - http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/buy/SONY-ERICSSON-C510-3DT67-DN90

The 3 website says it supports the phone, but the link sent in the text doesn't work.

I have that problem sometimes with my Sony Ericsson G502 on three, I waited a few hours and tried again and it works. I don't know why it does that.
