I don't understand the end of the question but if you mean can both of you have Skype enabled handsets can you call each other for free (?), yes you can0 -
I don't have a 3 mobile, but have a phone which can access the internet via Wi-Fi. It also has windows mobile (O2 XDA Zest). Can I use it to make free Skype calls via WiFi? Do I need to download Skpe to it? If so, what Skype program as there seems to be several Skype Mobile programs?0

Fascinating thread has led me to register. I recognise so many of the bad experiences above. We changed from Orange to 3 last December and we both have the Skype-enabled phones but have given up trying to use the system as it crashes out all the time. Since we can't use it abroad it really is of little value. The phones themselves are horrible, hard to use and the batteries are terrible compared to our old Motorolas. If we walk around while tlaking the signal frequently drops too. When we phone for help the process is painful in the extreme- it took me three long phone calls to get roaming enabled and even then it didn't work without endless fiddling. So we will be leaving 3 as soon as we can. Just not worth it.0

Hiya
You need Skype for Windows Mobile ( http://www.skype.com/download/skype/windowsmobile/ ). Your mobile has Windows Mobile v6.1 on it and that should work with the above version of Skype.
For those who have older Windows Mobile PDAs and phones, there are versions of Skype floating around the internet that support your operating system, but I don't think they're on the Skype site. Note that you need a reasonably powerful processor chip to be able to use Skype over wifi.

Call quality to SKYPE in Span is excellent. Problems have been the internet connetion in Spain and then I just use my Skype Credit and call their landline instead.
Have done 3mobile skype call to 3mobile skype and a slight delay. But now the new payg give free 3-3 calls no need for it :-)
I have a network free Nokia n79 and planet 3 did not recognise my handset for skype software and found it her:

I love 3 and I love skype. Looking at moving to payg in August. They are the cheapest DATA charge compared to any network.0 -
i bought a three inq1 a month ago and love it. it was only £70 and is great for skype, msn, and facebook. though only the skype and msn are free.
i've found the call quality on skype pretty decent. the main problem i have is that most of the people i call aren't on skype so it's of limited use.
the three signal around wembley and ealing is okay. i will say that for me it's no worse than orange but it is much cheaper.
overall a great offer but maybe not as useful as it sounds.0 -
No one found this £19.99 skype enabled handset yet?0

Has anyone got one of these 3 PAYG skype sims and put it in an unlocked phone and got skype and msn to work for free?
Also - how much internet access do you get for free?
I have a unlocked N96 and before I even contemplate moving my number to 3, I want to test a PAYG sim in my N96 to see if I can get it to work.
Any advice appreciated as it does seem a great deal but again, you need to consider customer support vs deal hence my test first.

You need 3's version of Skype on the phone so at the moment you need a 3 branded phone.
The people in the store say that in a couple of weeks there will be support for non-3 phones. Apparently, when you turn on the phone it will download and install the right settings and software for your phone. I have an unlocked phone and although I could (haven't) make normal calls I can't make use of the Skype aspect.0 -
Went into a Three store today and ordered the "Sim Zero" which is Free Skype, Free MSN but paid calls/texts and £0 line rental on pay monthly.
Bought a Skype phone for £69.99, up and running within the hour, tested on Skype and MSN and it's perfect for me! Especially considering I need to call North America, Free line rental woo \o/0
