Conned out of £10 by Game( Chatham Branch)

You can't really warn everyone about one small shop,it's hardly fair, and you can't generalise about the whole company.
I am only writing of my one bad experience with this particular employee in one branch of a large chainstore which I think is a fair representation of my treatment by them. It is up to people to make their own mind up about where they shop.
I have not blamed the whole company in fact I have always been more than satisfied with the service I have received from them in the past and at that particular branch.0 -
You don't have any proof of anything so i think it's unfair to name a store, the town and the fact she's female.0

I don't think it is very fair to short change people either and there are several females at the store.0

I'm guessing the OP has never worked in a shop. No offence but in my experience it is usually the customer who is wrong in this situation. Cashiers spend all day handling money and it is in their interest to give the right change so they tend to be very careful about it. Customers on the other hand tend to have other things on their mind and won't be paying so much attention.
You are convinced you gave a £20 note and you are convinced you didn't have a £10 note on you, but you must surely accept the fact that you might be wrong. I think it is time to let it go and check your change in future.0 -
I doubt,in the current climate, that someone would risk their job over £10.
I also doubt that the entire payroll of the Chatham branch of Game are having a marvelous party, complete with strippers and a petting zoo, paid for by a measly £10.
Something in your tale of woe dosn't add up.0 -

Just "thinking " "someone " "may " have short changed you is not justification for posting a petty rant. You are accusing someone, hiding behind your keyboard, yet don't have the guts to go to the Police.
You are innocent until proved guilty, yet you are in effect destroying the reputation of every female employee in that shop. All for £10.You are sad...0 -
:beer:Several £10 over the period of a day = quite a tidy sum = several cans of stella and a few lapdancers, maybe even a couple of pizzas!
I have worked in a shop so know that employees are not all angels neither are managers! Get real you know it goes on!
Looks like a convention of game employees are on here must be the end of the shift!0 -

Or a convention of people who check their change rather than just randomly soiling the reputation of shops/their employees because they lost a tenner and assumed it was stolen...
Why would anyone bother to steal money from someone if there wasn't a petting zoo involved?
Booze, grub and naked women (or men,if you prefer) are all well and good - but nothing without a donkey between your legs and a few rabbits hopping around.
Case closed.0 -
 Whatever it is your drinking I'll have one as well can i give you an iou for a tenner I seem to have lost one0
