You are making good progress Jo.
Is that a dinosaur skull in the middle, bottom of your picture, have you unearthed a rare archaeological (phew, spelling that sprained my brain) find?

I think they're just slabs of concrete M :o they look a bit unslightly to me and have no idea what they were originally used for. But someone earlier on this thread did mention that the kids could paint them which I thought was good idea.

Wow, your garden has really come along Jo, you're doing great!:T Hope you're feeling better now, sounds like you had a nasty bout of bronchitis.

I am thinking of getting knee pads but will never be able to look at them without smirking now.:rotfl:

My own garden is still in the same state but I have bought loppers so as soon as I get the chance (and the weather) I will put them to use. I've also bought some seeds and need to pick up some pots - they're a lot more expensive than I realised so I'll have to choose carefully. I also need the heavy-duty type gloves. I saw cheap welders' gauntlets on Ebay that I might get.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Nuala, the gloves that I bought (on the previous page of this thread I think) from B&Q are great, they are even good with the brambles and less than 4 quid a pair (and all the patterns and colours your heart could desire :D).

I've been out everyday this week doing a little bit at a time, the bronchitis went but was taken over with vertigo, but the tablets I'm on means I don't go dizzy anymore....so little and often :)

Looking forward to getting out there tonight for half hour, I've discovered that if I do it every night then my body hurts but not half as much as if I leave it a day or two and it completely seizes up :rotfl:

    Good luck!
