A successful claim can have an affect on the outcome of the complaint (for example you can't say you didn't know you had it if you have tried to claim on it).
But in the event of an upheld claim of mis-selling, when you have made a successful claim on the policy, any refund may be reduced by the amount paid out when you claimed on the policy.0 -

Is this is what is confusing everbody? I think she means she tried to claim back the PPI and cancel the policy.
I have much experience with thinking faster than I can type

Thank you for confirming this, so a reclaim can still be made then?
I think I had mis read on the OP's post, and now take it that a reclaim complaint has been made and not that of a successful claim.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
