Chortle, have you tried the PDSA for your cat? I had a dog many years ago now, and he fell very sick at a time when I couldn't afford the vet's bills. The PDSA paid everything for me. It's definitely worth checking them out. They have Pet Aid hospitals in larger areas and Pet Aid practices in smaller communities; there's bound to be one or the other near you

ITR - glad my little drama might've helped someone else!
This website is the cheapest I've found so far for the medication my cat needs - http://www.bestpetpharmacy.co.uk/ (plus it explains how to do it) but if you just google the drug name and 'cheap' it should find other sites too

No spender for me today.

Chortle - glad you have found somewhere to get meds for your cat a little cheaper. My cat came from Blue Cross rescue so although she is old (14), she was covered by Pet Plan from there which I was able to carry on. I don't think any other insurers would have started a policy on an old cat. Still have to pay an excess etc, but hopefully will save any really scary bills.0 -

It's about £9 cheaper on there than from the vets! Will definitely do this next time - didn't even know you could this type of thing from anywhere else!0 -
A bit OT, but can you check out my signature? :j :j
It's 20 weeks tomorrow that I go travelling, but even better - 18 weeks on Friday that I finish work - that sounds SOOOOOOOO much better. Yippeeeee!!!
Spent £2.20 on a sandwich, diet coke, 2 x snackajacks (BOGOF) and also spent £6.89 on posting an ebay parcel. Really gutted, as a lot of my items sold, but for low prices - my fault for starting them at 99p - what can I do aside from send them?!! Boo Hoo!! Oh well!!
Wont be able to add much to my TF over the next month due to my friend's wedding, but on budget at the moment..
18 weeks - la la la la la la la la!! xx0 -

How exciting, that time will just fly by and you'll wonder where it all went!
I booked a trip home (to nz) the other day, going home for 3 weeks at the end of the year. It'll be 3 years since I've been back so I'm DYING to see all my family and friends again. It's too far away to start a countdown yet, I'll obsess over it if I add it up now!0 -
Well went to the pub with a friend for a drink at lunchtime and was hoping that it was her turn to pay! Alas not, so that's £2.80 for 2 diet cokes! Apart from that nothing else, unless the Avon lady comes round tonight!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Just paid £155.00 for dental treatment. Will get it all back from HSA though.
Went round the airport cafeteria for a snack lunch - B paid, don't know how much. We went out to lunch yesterday at the nearest TGI Friday - B got a voucher online, pay for one meal and the other is free.
